Krista's 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Fletchers Lake

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD We have a large 2.44 acre lot. We have fenced in a large section just for dogs. The front and side fence are wood proving full privacy to the dogs in the yard. The back fence is back chain link which blends with the trees, providing a lovely view of the hill, and trees. Inside the fence there is a small natural pond. Our pond is home to many of our famous Nova Scotia Peepers! They sing beautiful songs at night! In the daytime you may see the tadpoles or adults in the pond. Our pond is 100% natural with no chemicals. It is fed by streams coming down the hill. We have pond moss and grasses, which sometimes come loose and float. We monitor the pond very closely! You access the back yard by walking between the garage and house to the back yard. Unlatch the bottom latch first, then the top one. Please no smoking or vaping on the property. Thanks! Enjoy!

A's Private Dog Park In Wyses Corner

****IMPORTANT : all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD*** Welcome to our little piece of heaven! We have a brand new home on 3 acres of land in Wyses Corner/Elderbank. We have a clearing around the home, including a huge septic field where it is short grass. The remaining of the property is older woodlands which is easy hiking for any skill level. We are located 5 minutes past Dollar Lake. On the way to the property you will see various farmlands. There are cattle, goats, sheep, poultry and horses all visible on the way. On our property itself, we have awesome views. It is very quiet and at night you can see the stars very well, as we are outside the glow of the city. On the property we have found many signs of wildlife and have seen several wild animals. We have 2 rabbit dens, pheasant nests, and numerous other birds which have neats in the trees surrounding the clearings. There are deer, porcupines, coyotes, and bears. The coyotes are heard howling at times at night, however we have not spotted any visible. The neighbors have also reported bears in their backyards and there's evidence of them.

We had a fantastic time here! The fenced area was clean and had some sticks and toys to play with. It was a little wet, but not very muddy for the time of the year! The unfenced area was pretty wet but there's a short road to walk along that leads to the water, which was fun to explore. Once the dock is there, it will be a great swimming spot! If your dog isn't a good swimmer be careful though, the water gets deep pretty quick! Overall, great experience. Spent an hour there with my two reactive dogs and we didn't see a soul. Would definitely recommend. :)

Lots of great smells and space to explore. We played ball in the fenced in area and then had a wander down to the lake and along the shore.

Annie & I had a great time at this sniff spot. The owner was quick to respond when I had a question, and was more than happy to keep their dogs contained so Annie (sometimes dog reactive) could enjoy the space uninterrupted. I would note that there was a neighbouring property that had some fairly loud and vocal (no surprise there!) hounds. It did catch the attention of Annie, and may be an issue for dogs with a lower threshold for other dogs. All in all it was a great variety of places to explore (make sure you bring marsh friendly footwear) and the lake access was a big bonus for my lab client. The only thing I found a bit confusing was where the property line was- but it did not impede our ability to explore. We will be back!
