55As always, we had a lovely time! We've been 3-4x and still haven't covered the entire property, and we extend our stay every single time. Quick responses with any questions I have and something added/new improvements each time we go. Grateful for the opportunity to have something like this close by for the kiddos to run and not having to worry about a thing.Stacey T.

55Even better than the first time. The pictures do no justice. I wish I could upload all of the beautiful videos, especially the panoramic views. It's breathtaking. It's one of my dogs' birthday today, and we haven't been to a sniff spot in probably 2 months. I reached out to the owner and received a response immediately. I'm glad I did because I was walking the pups and scheduled to be there an hour later and I'm 40 minutes away. Too hot to walk them in the neighborhood. This is the best spot around! Otherwise, I'd have to drive to Dittmer, Missouri. The pond is beautiful! It's out in the middle of NOwhere, so I don't have to worry about any roads even remotely nearby. It's quite simple once you get there. You'll see the tires that mark the parking spot with a huge sign that says "Park Here" to your left. Just keep driving down the driveway and you'll run right into it. Once you park, start walking down the driveway more and you'll see your first Sniff Spot sign to your right (in pics with bug spray, etc). It's basically a path circling the large pond with a few other little shady areas along the sides. There are 2 benches, one on each side of the pond. Plenty of tall grass along the edges and a mowed down path. We like the best of both worlds! I like that I don't have to worry about them even when they're out of sight. I believe I've extended my stay both times that I've been here and will be back for plenty more! I didn't even use the map that the owner probably worked so hard on because it's pretty cut and dry. Love that there are tons of shaded areas in the summer along with somewhere to swim almost the entire way. You can basically come here year round. Wonderful host! She is very kind , and she wanted to make sure I understood where to park, where I was going, asked for feedback, Etc. Very pleased. I did hear dogs near the parking area but from very, very far away and I could tell they were confined by the sound of their barking. I don't think I saw one piece of garbage on my entire visit either time. Extremely clean.Stacey T.

55We had an absolutely incredible experience at this 50 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Winfield! If you’re looking for a place where your dogs can truly be dogs, this is it.
The property is huge—plenty of space for running, exploring, and burning off energy. The well-marked trails made it easy to navigate, and we loved having different loop options to choose from. It honestly felt more like a peaceful nature hike than a typical dog park, which made the whole experience even better.
What really stood out was how natural and serene the setting is. Surrounded by trees and open land, it gives your pups the freedom to roam while still feeling safe and private.
My dogs had the best time—lots of sniffing, exploring, and full-speed zoomies. It’s also perfect if you want to avoid crowded public dog parks and just enjoy quality time with your dogs in a calm, beautiful environment.
We’ll definitely be back—this spot is a hidden gem! 🐾

55My two dogs had the time of their lives! Running, running, running! They love to chase each other at top speed.
They did go in puddles and got sufficiently muddied. Both needed baths when we got home but I think it was totally worth it.
Thanks so much!Kathleen R.

55Lovely huge space - we were a bit confused about where the property lines were but I think that was just us being dumb. Do really check your dogs for ticks afterwards.Christina F.

55My cattle dog mix loved it! He loves to run and there are plenty of trails for him to burn energy on. Trails are well marked with signs. Directions in the email are very clear. Since they are dirt trails I would imagine its muddy after rain but it was dry for us so not a problem. It was Paxtons dream home, he didnt want to leave. (Also, the home on the property is beautiful!)Casey L.

55I loved the trail. Super quiet and beautiful. My dog was knocked out when we got home. Just a couple more signs would be helpful but I know they are being made. Maybe a bench near the water so we could relax while she ran around. Outside of that I loved it. Anjelica W.

55It’s very spacious, with both open fields and dense bushes (and a lake!). I booked an hour, but after 40 minutes my dog was already exhausted from running. I parked my car next to a house, and from there I could just follow the path behind the house forward. I hope there are more signs along the way, because I wasn’t quite sure which direction to go or where the boundary of the area was.
Sometimes you have to step through tall grass, so make sure to wear long pants. And if it’s summer, bring insect repellent spray and keep an eye on your dog so they don’t get too close to foxtails.
Overall great experience!Melanie X.

Frequently asked questions about Winfield dog hiking trails
What types of dog hiking trails are available in Winfield?
Winfield has 6 dog hiking trails offers wooded trails, open meadows, and varied natural terrain. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in Winfield. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.
When can I book dog hiking trails in Winfield?
Winfield dog hiking trails are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual Winfield listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.
How do I book a dog hiking trail in Winfield?
Browse 6 available dog hiking trails in Winfield, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most Winfield locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.
What's the most popular dog hiking trail in Winfield?
50 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Winfield is highly rated among Winfield dog hiking trails, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse Winfield listings to find your ideal match.
Can I use Winfield dog hiking trails for training sessions?
Yes! Winfield dog hiking trails are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice trail recall in natural environments, leash manners on varied terrain, or hiking endurance building, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many Winfield professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.
Do Winfield dog hiking trails accommodate multiple dogs?
Most Winfield dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private dog hiking trails let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.
What amenities do Winfield dog hiking trails offer?
Winfield dog hiking trails feature amenities like marked trail paths through natural terrain, open meadow areas for off-leash play, and shaded rest spots along the route. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each Winfield listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.
Are Winfield dog hiking trails available year-round?
Many Winfield hosts maintain their dog hiking trails throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor dog hiking trails provide year-round access regardless of Winfield weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
