This Sniff Spot is tranquil and relaxing. I knew I was putting my boy down last week and wanted him to have a nice quiet place to play one last time. I am hopeful that my tears will only help the lovely grass in the backyard.

What a fantastic yard!! The owner had some dog toys out already and even put up a small pool which our dogs used to cool off. Thank you for a wonderful opportunity to exercise our dogs!

Beautiful place! Lots of space, no weak spots in, around or under the fence. Very secure, very private. Host was very responsive to my questions. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

Super friendly home owner with a perfect backyard to let your dog run free! Couldn't recommend more. Perfect for people like us who live in a apartment with no where to let our dog play free.

Clean, private, and spacious. Perimeter fence defines the space so the boundary is obvious. Off street parking is a plus. Water bowl and a bin full of poop bags and toys provided.

Great space to let my dog run off leash. The hill was an added bonus to really wear her out. Will be visiting again. Had a fresh bowl of water by the entrance and poop bags handy.

Katie's yard was perfect for our travel weary labs. It is completely fenced and there were no worries at all. She provided toys and sprinkler was available to cool them off. The yard is the perfect size to keep an eye on them. Katie is sweet and is obviously a dog

After having to reschedule due to work and then my own forgetfulness about the appointment, I haven't gotten a chance to bring my pups. But Katie was super nice and extremely responsive to my messages and was willing to help compromise with the rescheduling. I hope to fully check this spot out soon!!

Chelsea’s place was the perfect spot for my dogs! There were so many places to sniff and explore and plenty of space for the dogs to get their sprints out. My husband and I were able to sit comfortably in the shade while the dogs played. Chelsea was great to communicate with and I’d recommend her spot to anyone! When we find ourselves in Bozeman again, we’ll definitely be back!
What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 0% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Billings area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 2 fully fenced dog parks in the area. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our off leash areas where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can also filter locations to avoid other domestic animals and people. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions.
