Rent the best private dog parks hosted by locals in Bonners Ferry, Idaho

So much fun for the pups.

Such a well-kept, beautiful space to explore trails and play with the pup. We had an awesome time! Everything was well explained. When we first got there and started walking to the Zoomie area 2 German Shepards ran towards us barking, but they were behind a fence, maybe being walked in the adjacent DNR land. Our dog isn't reactive but maybe for those who are, that would have been triggering. Something to keep in mind, there are parts of the property that back up against publicly used land. We would totally come back here any day!

An amazing stop! Our dogs had a great time and our lab was so excited for the water. The trail was clearly labeled and it was easy to find our way back to parking. Definitely want to come back again!

This was our first time ever using Sniffspot and we were so impressed! The property was so peaceful and perfectly maintained. My dog Milo thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I appreciated the signage and postings along the property to let you know where to go / not go. As a city gal, I totally passed up the street to turn on the first time. Oops! The host is really communicative which is always great. I heard a dog bark one time (literally one bark) and I am pretty sure I heard a person say hello - but I called Virgil to me and kept moving. Lots to smell, and is just like a trail except it’s private :) We will definitely make the drive up again some time! Virgil had a blast. We were there about 90 minutes and easily could have spent another hour at least. There were tables and chairs throughout the sniffspot.

Excellent peaceful and private location, good access to national forest trails and cute spot to picnic with dogs as well.

This was a perfect spot for our very scent oriented dog. He was non stop for our 1 1/2 hour visit. The combination of old growth forest and meadow, with a stream and pond thrown in, were dog heaven! We appreciated the setting, toys, and the mosquito repellant! Nice touches everywhere. The signage was the best we've seen.

Lovely property with hiking trails. Not strenuous for unseasoned hikers, but the trails go up/down hills and across a creek. There is a dry path over the creek if your dog will follow and not lead. The zoomie area is big enough to run around but maybe not for the chuck it runners. There were a handful of chairs about too. My pup found all the ponds/wet muck spots so bring a towel. Heard some people voices and saw a horse pup was alert to, but all in all pretty quiet. Fun area to explore! Thank you!

We had another great visit! Last time we came it was pouring rain and this time is was dry and sunny. Really appreciated the bug spray, because they were out today!

Nice, secluded area for your dogs to play. Trail was a short and easy grade to an open space to play fetch with your pups. Will likely visit again.

Excellent signage, really fun spot. My dogs ran wild it was perfect. My (Apple Maps) navigation did take me just past the spot but the signage fixed that problem!

Wonderful property for a nice private and secluded hike! We didn't encounter any other people or dogs as expected and got to explore the woods. I didn't let my dog off leash but we still loved it!

Nice secluded trails and an open field area that the owners provide balls and bubbles with a seating area. The owner also had a small campfire going at the entrance that had smores kits on one of the chairs. We will definitely be back.

My friend and I took 3 Std. Schnauzers to this site on 5/31. What a wonderful treat! Beautiful entry into a park like setting and a Doggie Disneyland! Plenty of well kept trails leading to a large off leash area. Bonus was meeting the neighbor's horse! We will put Black Pond on our list of places to visit this summer. Delightful!

The location was stunning with tons of different types of landscape for my dog to explore. We've been to a few different spots and this was definitely her favorite. There were lots of toys, a trash can, poop bags, pretty much everything a pet parent could want. The trails were well marked, and the instructions were clear, which is always helpful.

Great sniff spot. Beautiful woods and our pup zoomed around in club zoomies. We also practiced recall on the DNR trail. If your pup is an escape artist, beware that the area is not fully fenced.

Spacious and 10min trails!!! I was able to clock in some cardio for me too! My pup had so much fun running around! He was confused about a horse but we didn’t approach them, just saw it in a distance. Great trail and enough space for fetch but we didnt have to!

It was a lovely walk for my dogs. We appreciated the water station for the dogs too. The signs were so helpful. A great spot that we hope to return to.

Amazing! My girl is going through a reaction phase and needs some time out of the city as we work on helping her control her emotions while she is "grounded" at our home in Seattle. She absolutely loved this property. It's a bit of a drive but we will be regulars! Also, they have EVERYTHING you need. Even bubbles :-) Such a good day!!!!
