This is a great little spot with alot of privacy once you are down the hill by the river. There is an open field for the dogs to run and play catch with a mix of grass and sand, There are multiple spots where the dogs and people can get into the water if you wish . I also have a picnic table and some chairs down there to sit and relax at , it is very peaceful and private. I also offer overnight camping for guests for 100 a night , I have a nice large lodge style tent set up overlooking the river , there is a grill picnic table , firepit a couple fishing poles or you could always bring your own. I also have kayaks and a canoe available for rent also.

A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Resident area of property has a securely fenced 10,000 ft area for your use, as well as adjacent grassy unfenced area. For this particular spot, as you enter, when you turn left onto the driveway running down between the two dog play yards west of the home, please park behind the house, where there is nearby access to a second less securely fenced area. This parking area behind the house exits to a pond area and another bigger grassy area that are unfenced. Dependent upon the season and weather, these ponds, small woods, and field area will be available for further exploration. At the point that the path crosses over the creek into a small wooded area, a sign posted will request dogs to be leashed beyond that point, both for safety and for the purpose of avoiding intrusion of the neighbor’s back yard. Various walking paths are cleared through the small woods, after which walkers may double back and complete their trek in the area around Kay and Rick’s barn and residence. Guests and their dogs are welcome to use seating areas in and around the dog play area. Feel free to approach family members if a bathroom is needed, or if a drink of water is needed. Dog watering station will be available. Dog FI tracking collar may be available upon request.
