Dancing Dandies dog run: near the Headwaters Forest Reserve

Fully Fenced
2.5 acres

This is a purpose built "dog run" exclusively for Sniffspot guests. Driving out the old Elk River Rd. provides nice valley views and array of farm animals. This 2.5 acer space is truly unique and gorgeous, with lush 360 degree sweeping views of towering Redwoods and mowed Perennial Rye grass. In addition the "mirco climate" is more ideal with less fog and more blue sky days than downtown Eureka or Arcata. Not only will your dog enjoy this large open space, we've added a bench and awning (coming soon) to keep you comfortable during your visit. This location is very ideal when visiting the Headwaters Forest Reserve just one minute up the road! Some guests like to come first to exercise their dogs before taking them on leash into Headwaters. Hope you and your pooch enjoy it.

Bayside Field and Farm Private Dog Park

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Almost an acre of pastureland overlooking Jacoby Creek Valley for dogs to sniff, roam, play, and most of all be off leash and in nature. Come with your dog alone or bring some friends and dog pals (up to 6 total) to romp and chase and play while you relax. There are some toys and obstacles, water, and lots to dig. Please bring your own balls. There may be cattle in the adjoining field below, occasionally deer though rarely in the daytime. Chairs are set for a pastoral view, particularly lovely at sunset. People and cars may go by on the driveway. The spot is all yours when you are there and with respect to reactive dogs, I won't greet you unless we set that up in advance. I want the dogs to feel that this is their space and we won't intrude. If your plans change you can cancel or reschedule up to 2 hours prior to your reservation through the app but it does not allow changes after that. The new picnic table is meant for your use, please keep dogs with muddy paws off the table. Please no smoking or using while visiting. Enjoy!

Frequently asked questions about Carlotta dog agility parks

What types of dog agility parks are available in Carlotta?

Carlotta has 2 dog agility parks offers tunnels, jumps, weave poles, and other agility obstacles. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in Carlotta. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.

When can I book dog agility parks in Carlotta?

Carlotta dog agility parks are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual Carlotta listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.

How do I book a dog agility park in Carlotta?

Browse 2 available dog agility parks in Carlotta, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most Carlotta locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.

What's the most popular dog agility park in Carlotta?

Bayside Field and Farm Private Dog Park is highly rated among Carlotta dog agility parks, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse Carlotta listings to find your ideal match.

Can I use Carlotta dog agility parks for training sessions?

Yes! Carlotta dog agility parks are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice obstacle course navigation, agility sequencing, or competition prep with equipment, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many Carlotta professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.

Do Carlotta dog agility parks accommodate multiple dogs?

Most Carlotta dog agility parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private dog agility parks let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.

What amenities do Carlotta dog agility parks offer?

Carlotta dog agility parks feature amenities like tunnels, jumps, weave poles, pause tables, and other competition-style or beginner-friendly agility obstacles. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each Carlotta listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.

Are Carlotta dog agility parks available year-round?

Many Carlotta hosts maintain their dog agility parks throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor dog agility parks provide year-round access regardless of Carlotta weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
