What a very nice large well kept yard with nice green grass my dogs loved running around and playing ball sniffing around the trampoline and swings. Amanda greeted us and was very accommodating to our needs and very gracious sending me home with chocolate dip strawberries and oranges from her tree. My pups crashed and went to bed as soon as we got home .. sign of a great time for them .will be back again for sure I definitely recommend coming here 2 thumbs up!!

My dogs had a blast! There was plenty of space for them to have fun! They slept like babies after this visit. I really recommend taking them to enjoy themselves and to explore without any interference of other people and/or dogs.

We had a great time celebrating our dogs birthday at Amanda’s backyard. She was super helpful and accommodating, helping us with some things to close off areas where dogs could sneak off and sniff and was super nice with all our questions. The area is clean and big, super nice for dogs to run around and play.

My dog Lucy and I loved our time here. She got to run around off leash, and I didn’t have to worry about other dogs being in sight or nearby. She loved laying in the kiddie pool to cool off too! Will definitely be returning.

My dog had such a great experience at Amanda’s Sniffspot! Amanda is an amazing host and made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! The yard itself is very big and open. There is lots of space to run around. My dog loved hiding under the trampoline haha. There is also a doggy pool and water provided.

Loved Amanda’s Sniffspot. Fully fenced. Quiet. Easy parking. No dogs or people to worry about inserting of your dog is reactive. Loved it so much we went back 2 days later!

A terrific backyard for our puppy and his friend to run! We live in a condo with no backyard and Amanda's yard is the perfect size with a lot of dog-friendly toys (there's even a kiddie pool). Amanda is a fantastic, super host! She's thoughtful (e.g., will bring out towels if we use the pool, we didn't use it)! We are so thankful for Amanda's Sniffspot!

Great spot for my pup! He’s super dog reactive and I live in an apartment so him being able to play freely in a space is invaluable. Amanda and her family were super welcoming and friendly and made sure Brodie was comfortable and had everything he needed.

Exactly as advertised! Was SO FUN to have room to run around with my dog. I used all the space to teach him a new trick and we were thrilled to be able to cool our paws in the splash pool. Was also fun to play with new toys and have a pleasant place to sit down when tired.

Both of my dogs loved being able to run free in the yard. An added bonus was the small pool of water that they splashed in - helped to keep them cool since the outside temp was warming up. Amanda is a great host and provided the drinking water and doggy bags for our use. I believe Hunter and Charlee will vote for a return visit soon. 🐶🐶

We had the most wonderful visit and will be back soon! Lots of space and toys (that Amanda didn't mind if my super chewer destroyed, although she ended up being too busy exploring and sniffing to focus on the toys) and my dog was exhausted from having so much fun! Thanks, Amanda, Mocha and family!

Beautiful space, a good mix of sun and shade. Amanda was a great host, she greeted us from a distance and let me know where to find the side gate. The yard has lots of fun things for dogs: a dig box, plenty of plants and grass, and so many toys!! I have to agree with a previous reviewer that the blue lives matter flag may make some visitors uncomfortable. Overall though this was a fantastic space and Pinky had an amazing time running and sniffing!! The space is absolutely safe and tall fencing was perfectly secure!

Amanda’s beautiful backyard is the perfect playground for my pup and her playmate. We have been here 4 times now and our dogs love running around and playing with all of the toys. Even on the hottest days, there is so much shade. Our pups are completely spoiled coming here. Amanda always checks in and is a gracious host. We will be back next week!

Amanda was the most excellent Sniffspot host I’ve ever had (I’ve tried several)! I was so impressed with and appreciated how much care she put into our visit. She laid out a ton of toys for us to play with, left out a box of treats, had doggie bags available, and filled up a water bowl along with the splash pool! It’s a gorgeous yard with a huge beautiful tree in the middle, who’s shade covers you from the sun nicely. My dog had a blast romping in the splash pool and stretching her long legs while running around. This yard even has a digging area for diggers! Will definitely be back.

FAQ about our San Jose dog agility parks

Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.

How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
