55Absolutely loved our visit! This property backs up to Mill Creek Greenway and to be honest, we have admired those seven acres for years while walking by.
Parking is easy on-street near the neighborhood entrance to the Greenway. You'll see a dog house with an official "Sniffspot" sign on the right. Go around the house in that direction and it will take you to the spacious back yard and further out, more open field area.
There is plenty of shaded areas and a small feeder stream that connects to the larger Mill Creek. Most of the property is fenced - but is open to Mill Creek and the Greenway on one side. However, there is enough acreage to explore that you can easily keep your pup away from the creek if you'd like. Alternately, you could put on a long line and let your dog splash in the water.
Like every good field, there are patches of mud puddles after some rain - but that's what dogs love.
Be aware that there is wildlife in the area. Keep an eye open for deer, coyote and other mammals in the fields and creek nearby.
Make sure and bring water and a dish for your dog, sunscreen and toys. A blanket to sit under the trees would be perfect.

Do not be scared off by the fact that it is near the greenway or even not entirely enclosed as there are areas where it is hardly noticeable and our pups were not distracted by anything. I will say though that the front of the yard (where the entrance is) isn't fenced and completely open, and almost immediately to the left is the start of a public park trail, aka very-enticing-stuff - so I would recommend leashing your doggo up far before heading too close to the front to leave.

• Next door on other side of fence, a neighbor w/ their dog calmly walking on lead
• From the meadow people using the greenway could be spotted from a distance.
• While in the water we had a group of curious people wonder down towards the water from the greenway side while the dogs played
• A group of kayaks passed by on the water
Access to the creek for water play and the expansive tree-lined meadows/lawn for the dogs to run and explore were perfection — truly, just what we were looking for. On a whole, the layout and good visibility on property made us feel very comfortable - even with our dog who requires slow introductions and so needs special consideration.

Are dog water parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. How can I find the best dog water parks in Castalian Springs?
How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. If your dog is not a strong swimmer, then perhaps choose a dog water park with tamer water features rather than a river or beach, for instance. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot water park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Additionally, we recommend following our water safety guidelines.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot water park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
If you are planning an amazing dog water park party, each Sniffspot water park has their own rules regarding special events. Many water parks allow doggie birthday parties, training and other event types. Event organizers need to be responsible for their guests and event organizers should coordinate with the host regarding their fun party.
