Seven Acres, Mostly Fenced, Waterfront access on Mill Creek.

Partially Fenced
7.8 acres

We hope you will give us a try and visit Nashville's very first Sniffspot and the most popular Sniffspot in middle Tennessee to this day! Read on for details … we love sharing our secret place! This Sniffspot is very conveniently located in southeast Nashville, 20 minutes from downtown, right near Bell Rd/Nolensville Rd between the Hickory Hollow pkwy/Tanger Outlets i24 and Bell Rd exits and the Brentwood i65 Old Hickory Blvd exit. An idyllic setting offers 7+ park-like acres of old farm land, mostly fenced, that includes waterfront access to Mill Creek with adventures for all kinds of humans and dogs to enjoy activities like playing, running, sniffing, digging and playing in the water. Come get your steps in and spend some quality off-leash time! Training, photo shoots, picnics, birthday and gotcha parties, just explore, rest, or relax in the Adirondack chairs while your dogs sniff, zoom, roam, retrieve, sniff, dig, walk, run, and sniff some more. There's creek access to swim, pastures to roam or nap, play areas of tall grass the dogs can explore, sniff, dig or derp around. Even plan your picnic on a blanket or use the picnic table. Get some exercise on the trampoline (Note: use at your own risk!). Make this sniffspot your private oasis for as long as you want.. Kids are always welcome! Just book your play time, bring at least one dog and all humans are free! Mill Creek borders the very back of the property and is available for water play but trees and vegetation and overall acreage makes it easily avoidable if that's not your thing. If you choose to venture to the creek and have a runner, you may want to bring a long lead. The water levels are usually below the knee, but the ability to use Mill Creek safely depends on you, the creek conditions, and amount of recent rainfall. Always assess the abilities of you and your pets- as safety comes first! As Dirty Harry once said, "A man's got to know his limitations." The majority of the property has fencing so once you pass the house on your way to the back fields it's off leash play time! I recommend considering walking the perimeter first (on or off leash) to orient yourself with property features and assess potential escape opportunities. Your dog(s) will benefit from a perimeter walk allowing them to visually identify, mark their spots, and collect sniffs while at the same time reaping the benefit of your pack leaving an invisible "bread crumb" scent trail as you walk which will assist a dog with future identification of the established boundaries as well. This is a natural instinct for many breeds. Note that Mill Creek along the back of the entire property is not fenced but it is mostly obscured at dogs level by trees and vegetation. Tip: When leaving, you may want to leash up before you reach the house - especially if you have a runner since there is no fence on the side of the house you enter and leave the spot. Depending on the water table, there is also a small feeder stream gently flowing through the middle of the property between the side and back fields. It can be great fun for a dog to explore and jump in and out of (just try and stop them!) And great for smaller dogs if Mill Creek is too intimidating. Hint: bring towels! The mature tree lines always provide plenty of shade for those hot summer months. Several foot bridges are available to cross over that small stream between the side and back fields while exploring, and you might even find the occasional old fashioned rope wood swing. A black hose with spray wand attachment is hanging by the house at the entrance/exit if you need to rinse you or your pet. Another green hose is available hanging on the opposite corner in the back of the house by the BACK garage door for your use -along with a water bowl. Feel free to pick yourself wildflowers if they are blooming (late Spring/Summer Varieties), or snack on some blackberries off the fence line if you happen to come while they are ripening (usually mid-June to mid-July).... Bug spray is always recommended spring through fall, Just in case! You can't have all this nature without all the nature. 😉 If the calendar shows the time slot you want is available then book it and it's yours! Be last minute, that's fine! Be spontaneous, that's great! No advanced notice required. (2 hour minimum cancellation required.) If your reservation is early or mid morning, consider to wear waterproof shoes. The dew on the grass will soak your feet! Multiple dog discounts really add up! All dogs after the first dog are 50% off the hourly rate! Bring your pack and/or their friends for a doggy play day! 👍🐾🐾 You are dedicated If you're still reading this far, and maybe you are considering your first visit?? If so, use promo code 'Chip' which is valid to get 5 dollars off your first visit only! 😉 Contact me with any questions and if you would prefer to meet and/or have a guide to walk the property the first time, if I am available, either or both my wife and I would be more than happy to accommodate that! Last, honest feedback and suggestions to improve our spot are very welcome and appreciated! And leaving positive reviews along with sharing pictures of your pet's visit enjoying the property are a host favorite, and will help our Sniffspot as well as others who haven't been here before! Thanks so much, Chip

Frequently asked questions about Cedar Hill dog water parks

Where can I find dog water parks in Cedar Hill?

Cedar Hill has 21 private dog water parks available through Sniffspot, offering swimming and water play in completely private settings. These locations range from compact spaces to properties spanning 40+ acres. Whether you need a space for your reactive dog, puppy socialization, senior dog gentle exercise, or high-energy play, Cedar Hill dog water parks provide safe, private environments. Filter for "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, or fencing types to find your perfect match.

How many dog water parks are in Cedar Hill?

Cedar Hill offers 21 dog water parks ranging from compact spaces to properties spanning acres. You'll find diverse options: fully-fenced for escape artists, indoor climate-controlled for year-round use, swimming pools for hot days, agility courses for training, and more. Each Cedar Hill dog water park listing shows detailed photos, amenities, fencing specs, and reviews from local dog owners.

Are Cedar Hill dog water parks good for all dog types?

Yes! Cedar Hill dog water parks work for every dog: puppies learning socialization, senior dogs needing gentle exercise, small dogs who feel safer without large breeds, high-energy dogs requiring space, and reactive or anxious dogs needing privacy. The completely private bookings mean each dog gets the environment they need. Browse Cedar Hill's 21 options to find spaces matching your dog's specific temperament and needs.

Will I encounter other dogs at Cedar Hill dog water parks?

Not a chance. Cedar Hill dog water parks operate on a strict one-booking-at-a-time system, so the space is entirely yours during your reserved slot. Host dogs are kept away, and there's a mandatory 30-minute buffer between bookings—meaning you won't cross paths with the previous or next guest. For Cedar Hill owners with reactive dogs, puppies, or any dog needing privacy, this makes all the difference in providing safe, stress-free exercise.

Are Cedar Hill dog water parks safe for fearful or anxious dogs?

Yes! Cedar Hill dog water parks provide controlled, predictable environments without the chaos of public dog parks. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers, anxious dogs can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off without overwhelming encounters. Many Cedar Hill dog owners specifically choose dog water parks for fearful dogs who need gentle, stress-free exercise environments.

Can puppies use Cedar Hill dog water parks?

Absolutely! Cedar Hill dog water parks are excellent for puppy socialization because they're private and controlled. Puppies can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off, practice recall, and build confidence without the overwhelming chaos that can create fear or reactivity in young dogs. Just ensure your puppy has age-appropriate vaccinations before visiting.

How do I choose the best dog water park in Cedar Hill?

Start by filtering Cedar Hill's 21 dog water parks for your specific needs: secure fencing for escape artists, "fewer dogs seen/heard" for reactive dogs, flat terrain for seniors, appropriate sizing for small dogs, or specific amenities for training. Look for "Top Spots" like Cedar Hill's Seven Acres, Mostly Fenced, Waterfront access on Mill Creek. with excellent reviews.Read feedback from other Cedar Hill owners with similar dog types to find your perfect match.

What are Cedar Hill's dog water park requirements?

All dogs must have basic vaccinations or titers. Each Cedar Hill host may have additional rules on their listing. Most dog water parks welcome all breeds, sizes, and temperament levels, including reactive dogs who can't safely visit public dog parks. Adult supervision is required at all times.
