55Exactly as described! I needed to get my three dogs out the house today for an hour and wanted a safe and fun place to take them. This was perfect! Parking was easy, the entry was private, and there was lots of space for the dogs to roam :) Fencing is secure and there were poop bags and a disposal. There are some low lying areas of the yard that were muddy but a hose was easily accessible! Loved the little pools, and the towels were a nice touch. I think my only request would be for a small concrete, gravel or rubber mat area near the exit to hose them off without them standing in mud, but overall we had a wonderful time and will be back/recommend. Thanks for a lovely visit! Ashley R.

55This was my first time using this service and I am so glad I did! I dog sit and needed to find a place that could work for me to let the high energy pups out to run around. They had a blast here! It was so fun to watch them run around and play! They had water bowls, toys and lots of space for them to run around. They also provided towels if you needed to dry them off. There is a muddy spot so one of them got dirty and I had to wash him off. The parking was a little tight because there were several cars in the driveway. Other than that this place was great and I’m so happy I tried them out and I will be back again!Melissa S.

55My pup Kinley and I came here to burn some energy and it was perfect for that. Fully fenced and a nice large space. There some toys around but we also brought some of our own. Definitely left muddy but I don't mind that and Kinley loved rolling around under the trampoline in it. There was a towel left out to dry off if we chose which was nice. Poop bags and water were available and parking was clear. We would visit again!Anna B.

55We had a blast! I recommend bringing your own water as the water from the hose in the backyard came out a bit soapy. Otherwise it’s a beautiful location, perfect size for our pups to have some private playtime! Emily R.

55safe, secure open space to run! very close to durham and chapel hill! everything you need and want… water bowls, toys galore, sniffs, poo station, and kiddie pools and a trampoline! we all had a great time getting some zoomies out!!
note, as the ad states, you may see clients dropping off pups for grooming and bikes roll by. if you have a reactive dog like mine, it’s just something to know. we saw three bikes during our time there, but the fence held my big, determined pittie in securely. honestly, i think he had a BLAST finally getting to “chase” bikes (i.e., running the fence line).Camille W.

55My dog and his best pal love Honeybee! My dog is a mini sheep-a-doodle who didn’t read the memo that explains he isn’t a big dog. He sometimes got in over his head trying to run with the big boys and girls at a regular dog park. When we invited pup friends for play dates in our yard, he was sometimes aggressively territorial. Honeybee is the perfect solution. Lots of room to run. Lots of toys that aren’t his. Such a serene setting! We humans discussed renting the space for ourselves to enjoy a couple of hours of uninterrupted reading. Bettejean C.

55We had a great time exploring Gregory’s beautiful property. We walked along the creek where our dog frolicked and had a blast. You make your own trail so to speak so wear suitable footwear. Looking forward to exploring it again, especially when the weather gets warmer and the creek is not as cold! our dog is quite reactive to other dogs and people so this was a perfect location for him to get natural enrichment off leash.Andrea G.

55This is a fantastic, quiet spot. My dog loved sniffing along the creek bed. We spent some time in the fenced in area too, which is very secure. Greg is the best host - it’s clear he loves his dogs and he is so accommodating. We’ll be back!Hannah T.

55Gregory is very accommodating and kind. There are serene, beautiful views. Wear waterproof hiking boots to access the rest of the property behind the creek as there is not yet a bridge for crossing. It is more of an open-woods layout as opposed to hiking trails. Be aware there are visible neighboring houses and highway from the woods so if your dog is reactive it will be best to keep them on leash. I did encounter Gregory unexpectedly about an hour into our visit. The walkie talkie he gave me buzzed him accidentally and he thought I needed help so he came to find me. I was able to leash my dog quickly enough that nothing happened. Because of this (though well-intentioned) and the visible neighbors, I do not recommend this for aggressive or reactive dogs off leash. Brittani P.

55The location is great and easy to find. Gregory was friendly and gave us a walkie talkie and map to use if we needed help during our visit. We didn’t walk the trails because our dogs enjoyed the creek but from what we could tell the trails are easy to see and seemed to go back into the woods quite a ways. Depending on where you hang out, it is near a road but there’s enough land that you don’t have to hang out near it. I definitely recommend this SniffSpot especially to those who have dogs that enjoy the woods, running, and are adventurous. Molly V.

55This place was beautiful! It had rained a bit before we got there, and it was still just so magical. It was Rhea (pup) first time off the leash like that. I loved that we were safe and confined in a good way. Like zero fears. It was all just a great time! I can’t thank you enough! We WILL make this a monthly space for sure if not weekly. Amazing spot! 55Beautiful, untamed woods along Morgan Creek. There are a couple of trails, but my pup and I enjoyed wandering through the woods exploring. The spots along the creek are lovely, and my water-loving girl enjoyed a swim. It is just off a road, so I don’t recommend if your dog’s recall isn’t great. There is a fenced in part with toys though.Kendra F.

FAQ about our Chapel Hill dog agility parks
Are dog agility parks safe?
While public off-leash dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than city parks. Contrary to a typical dog park, with Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect safe place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. As always, ensuring you use park dog agility equipment safely is also key to an enjoyable experience.
How can I find dog agility parks in Chapel Hill?
There are 14 dog agility parks in the Chapel Hill area. The most popular dog agility park is Morgan Creek K9 Park. You can browse all of our dog agility parks here.
How do I know if a dog agility park works for my dog?
Owners commonly wonder about whether a park works for their dog. Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a fenced dog agility park that works for your dog. You can also filter on size to find a larger park or neighborhood parks. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog agility parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog agility parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can read the description of the spot to see the details of the set up, such as whether there is commercial grade park equipment, and other amenities, such as park benches. Browse photos to get a sense for park design. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking agility park hours.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot agility park?
We require that all dogs have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Treat all park equipment with respect and care.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot agility park at the same time as me?
Sniffspot only allows one booking at a time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the spot during visits. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between bookings.
