55Henry R. Dog and Sunshine had a wonderful time here again fetching sticks on the lawn, wading in the creek, and running through the woods. This is such a happy place! Courtney S.

55Beautiful place to go for a walk in the woods. Wear shoes or boots with some traction. Trails are well maintained and easy to explore. Host provides a lot of extras. I was happy to find a poop depository bucket by the lockers. I’ve had to drive it home at other SS. Beautiful little creek runs through this area. The dogs loved exploring, and I loved being in nature! Be mindful of potential to run into horses or deer once you cross the creek though! There is open wire fencing along the path after the creek that I didn’t see beforehand, and one of my dogs took off like lightning across a field, I think after a horse, but I actually couldn’t see what he chased after as the house is pretty far off. My city dog apparently has no self-preservation genes. He recalled back after causing chaos somewhere by the house. Anyway, leash up before crossing the creek if you’re unsure how your dog might do around other animals! Otherwise we had no other encounters. Lindy L.

55I got a bit confused (should’ve paid attention to my GPS!!) & Initially went to the wrong Black Pond Farm SniffSpot.
The host was very understanding & helpful though, & figured out my mistake, directed me to the right place & graciously allowed me to stay my full hour (since by then I was halfway into my reserved time)
Woodland Tranquility Pathways was an awesome getaway for both my tripod Lab AND me!
Very peaceful and nicely groomed trails, & Frida was thrilled to cool off in the creek!
Since Frida can’t walk too far without getting tired, we probably didn’t even find all the trails available, but I like that we were able to choose short or long loops.
Will most definitely return! Lennis M.

55Our two English Cocker Spaniels had a wonderful romp here today. Everything they love was there in one place: mossy, woody trails, a creek to spash in, and a grassy lawn to roll around on. Everything is conveniently set out and well marked, including chairs on the trails for humans to take a rest. We will come again!Courtney S.

55LOVE this spot! 5 acres with all kinds of hills, little trails, and there’s even a creek towards the back, which is an added bonus. Erin is a great host! Plenty of signage, fresh water for your pup, throwing sticks ready for you to toss, even s’mores ready for you to make if you want! Very private and relaxing 💜Rebecca V.

55Our second visit, and we had a great time! Puppy zipped around the trails for awhile, and then played ball on the lawns by the buildings. It's a good spot for down time too, so I brought a book and read in the sun while the dog rolled in the grass and explored nearby. Suzanne S.

55This is a beautiful sniffspot with plenty of space and extras like a chair, water, fire pit, and more! For those of us who may be out of shape/chubby ( like myself), there are some pretty steep hills to climb when exploring the trails. They do level out though! I would definitely come back, but would wear better shoes. Lisa H.

55We had a great time exploring and the pups got to zoom around and sniff and the new smells. They had water bowls, a jug of water and a locker with doggie supplies in it that was a very nice touch. Overall very good experience, thank you! Michelle I.

55We only booked the place for an hour and fully regret not being able to explore for longer. There are multiple trails and a small creek on the property. Not only did both my dogs love exploring the woods but my toddler had a great time as well! The owners of the property seem very thoughtful as there was a doggy water station with fresh water available when we got there! There's also a locker with extra leashes, toys and a frisbee to play with. We really appreciated having a place to toss the poo so we weren't stuck with a poo smelling car on the ride back home. We can't wait to come back out for longer! Erika C.

55This was such a relaxing space. It has a nice hill with lots of trails through the wooded space. My dogs had such a great time running along the trails. They loved playing above the little creek on the trail. They have put so much care in the space with everything you could possibly need. I can't wait to go back and explore with my dogs again.Tina P.

55This was such a nice spot to get away from it all. The time went past WAY too quickly as we just casually wandered the trails. It was SO NICE to be out and enjoying walking trails in the woods and not being on constant guard for some big dog to come around the corner without a leash. Laura C.

55This is going to be one of our favorite weekend Sniffspots. This was our first visit here but we loved everything about it including the beauty and tranquility of the place. We have not met our guests but we felt their warm welcome everywhere. There was a clean water ready for our dogs, clean toys, supplies for a camp fire, a little bucket for collecting the berries in the summer, and much more. We had no troubles orienting ourself. Everything including trails and Sniffspot boundaries was clearly marked. Our dog loved playing fetch in the grassy area in front of the house and off-leash exploration and playing hide and seek on the hiking trails behind the house. Klara H.

55Such a great day! Brenda was very nice, Sophie had a great time and it was well worth the trip out there. It took about 50 minutes from North Seattle.
Sophie can't interact with other dogs, so this was a perfect place to practice hiking with a lead and practice recall. I was reluctant to let her off the lead because it said it wasn't fully fenced but I think it would be fine next time now that we know the place. We'll definitely be back!!!🐾
(Included a blurry picture because she was running around having so much fun, I couldn't get a pic in focus!!) 😊Shawna M.

Frequently asked questions about Chelan dog water parks
What do private dog water parks in Chelan offer that public parks don't?
Private dog water parks in Chelan offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for swimming and water play, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Chelan can't guarantee any of this. With 4 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.
Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Chelan?
Yes! Most of Chelan's 4 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Chelan listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.
When can puppies start visiting dog water parks in Chelan?
Puppies can visit Chelan dog water parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore swimming and water play without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Chelan trainers specifically use dog water parks for puppy development.
How do I find private dog water parks near me in Chelan?
Browse Chelan's 4 dog water parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Chelan listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Tara's Private Dog Hike In Manson is particularly popular among Chelan dog owners.
Can I rent dog water parks in Chelan by the hour?
Yes! All 4 dog water parks in Chelan are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Chelan dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.
What's the difference between Sniffspot dog water parks and public dog parks in Chelan?
The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Chelan mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 4 Chelan dog water parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys swimming and water play and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.
Are there indoor dog water parks in Chelan?
Yes! Chelan has climate-controlled indoor dog water parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Chelan locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Chelan weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.
How do Chelan dog water parks help with dog training?
Chelan trainers love dog water parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice water confidence building, dock diving practice, or swimming-based fitness training, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for swimming and water play.
