55We visited on a cloudy day and had a wonderful time. Michaele was very helpful with describing the state of the fields following rain and some flooding (all was fine with boots). Dog loved it with plenty of room to roam, sniff, and run; and fell asleep in the car on the way home (the measure of a successful trip!).Barbara L.

55Growing Things Farm was a great escape from the city for both us humans and dog. Dougie had the time of his life running around just being a dog. We loved spending time here with Dougie and are so appreciative to Michaele for sharing it with us! We’ll definitely be back.
The area is unfenced but the property is so massive it never really was an issue. There is a barbed wire fence on one side neighboring another property but we were able to stay away from it pretty easily by roaming the rest of the 10 acres. There were piles of debris from flooding cleanup and uneven terrain in some spots but nothing we didn’t know of beforehand. Fyfy N.

55Our big dogs had the best time at Growing Things Farm! Tons of room to run and not a human or other animal in sight. They had a blast! It was wet (it had rained and a bit boggy any way) so wear boots and bring towels. We will definitely be back!Melissa H.

55Beautiful spot with large open fields, my dogs just loved it. Areas of the field were boggy and there are little tributaries on the property that my dogs found, a bonus for us. I was a little unclear where to go and park at first but apparently there are usually signs. Your dog may get muddy haha bring a towel.Marybeth G.

55This is a new spot. I believe we were the first to visit. Lots of open farmland to run and sniff in. Great place for fetch if we had only brought a ball. We saw no people and only heard dogs in the distance but never saw and our pups didn’t care at all they were to busy having fun.Denise R.

55We had a wonderful time. This place is huge and rugged in a way my dog and I love. He enjoyed exploring, playing fetch and getting soggy in the irrigation ditches and remains of flooding from the winter. He was visibly happy and relaxed and the lack of fencing was not an issue at all since the property is far from major roads and very large. We will be coming back again! Joy R.

55The pups had a great time here. The host was very easy to communicate with. The grounds were beautiful -- lots of space to run and plenty of puddles and a little stream to jump into. The dogs had a wonderful time and it was good to get outside for a walk. I'll definitely come back here. Ailynn C.

55We just spent a blissful hour here. Gorgeous fields with snow covered mountains as a backdrop. If you walk all the way back and cross the irrigation creek the field there is just marvelous. The dogs found the mud patch and enjoyed a fiesty roll-about...thankfully I have a washable car seat cover. We will absolutely be back. My dogs are so happy to have had an hour to run run run and be free and explore. Rachelle L.

FAQ about our Spokane dog water parks
Are dog water parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars. If you are worried about whether you can have an enjoyable water experience, just know that it is possible to have peace of mind when visiting dog waterparks by following basic safety guidelines. Some great ways to stay safe around water with your dog include learning canine CPR and keep an eye on your dog at all times to ensure they are not distressed. How do I know if a dog water park works for my dog?
Start by applying basic filters, such as fencing and distractions, to find a dog park that works for your dog. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our fully fenced dog water parks. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog water parks where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. Make sure to review the amenities of the spot to see what kind of water features are offered to make sure it works for your dog. We also recommend reading reviews and reaching out to the host with any questions, and of course, checking water park hours.
