** We are open and accepting bookings on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Years Day. ** 23 acres enclosed with 4' high woven wire fence, a mix of open field and heavy woods, sometimes turkey, grouse, gophers, and bunnies, lots of "sniff therapy"! Private entrance is shaded with easy access right onto the wooded trails! The portapotty and dog rinse station are located in the parking area. We have bug sprays and poop bags at the entrance and the far end of the field for you to use if needed. Special visitation hours or larger groups may be available under prior arrangement. Shoot us a message, and we can usually make larger groups or people traveling to/from dog competitions happen! For those traveling, we might also be able to accommodate visits outside of our normal hours. ***now that we have freezing temps at night, we are not leaving water out in the field.***

My 15yo lab was let off the leash permanently in February and I'm not ready to commit full time again...yet. Having had dogs all my life and having a 9yo son that that says he'll do all the work, I'm sure it will happen soonish but for now this option works great for both of us! My Spot is a spacious fully fenced backyard with great shade at any time of the day. The entrance is on the west side of the house. There is occasionally a dog in the yard to the west but there is an 8 ft fence on that side. The chainlink section in the back will have people in their yard rarely but no pets. I will take care of any cleanup and disposal for you for an additional $2/dog. Come, play, leave. Easy peasy! Feel free to eat some raspberries while you're here, if they are in season. Big yard surrounded by farm land. Got one side filled with a strip of brush and trees. Other three sides are farm land and road. Drive way splits the front and back, use to develope a distinguished boundary, parking out by the barn. Kennel and barn are respectfully off limits. I may occasionally have the pole barn open. It’s fine if your dog wanders in but be adamant they stay out to play. My dogs may be in the kennel. They will bark but will settle after awhile- you may request they remain in the house- I’m fine with that. It’s a neat spot I hope you could use as a tool for training or developing your dogs skills. Moderate traffic on the road. Train passes at a distance.
