Welcome to our Doggy (& Human) Haven! We offer 34+ beautiful acres of partially fenced Yard, Wide Open Field/Pasture & a vast lush natural Forest with trails. Gift your dog(s) the experiences of positive enrichment- with multiple opportunities to explore, play, train & have fun! Let them climb boulders, logs, chase squirrels, play catch, find a favourite stick, run, jump, practice training exercises and sniff to their hearts desires. We have 4 main trail systems with several interconnecting mini trails offering you a new adventure every visit! Having 2 large working dogs ourselves, we know what your furry friend needs! ***Please note, Sniffspot is an American company so you will be charged in USD***

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD. Totally private, partially fenced area with a beach and large pond. Fully fenced from road. Plenty of space for parking. Lots of space to run and swim. A trail is also available around the pond at the edge of the north field, along the edge of the wooded, pine area.

We have an acre of fully fenced area or 2 acres of 90% fenced area. Grass is kept short and our property is completely flat. There are chickens behind a fully fenced area.

***Charges in USD*** Come enjoy our 100 acre property with an established trail, a pond and a hilltop area with a picnic table, seating and fire pit. We are located only 10 minutes west outside of Peterborough. Our property is home to wildlife such as turkeys and deer - although it may be rare to spot them. **WINTER DISCLAIMER** Due to the size of our property, our trails are not plowed during the winter so we highly recommend wearing winter boots, spikes, snowshoes to enjoy the trails.

Daily 6 A.M. until 9 P.M. we offer a partially fenced, groomed 1 acre + 2 field play areas, where your dogs can run free. We have chairs in the fields for you to relax. We have a Chuckit available to throw balls for your dogs. There is a pond in the first field but I don't recommend it for swimming except in May. Fresh well water in a bucket, for dogs, and bowls, are provided in the first field. From there we have a mile long gravel walking trail along fields and forest. It's very straight, and if you stay on the trail, you can't get lost. It is very quiet and peaceful. Part way back there is a small run-off creek and metal culvert that is suitable for dog swimming in the spring and early summer. This is marked so is avoidable if you put your dogs back on a lead as you pass. You can often see deer, wild turkeys and lots of birds, sometimes bald eagles. A walk to the end and back is 2 miles and takes 40 minutes at a moderate pace. Just past the culvert, we offer a nice trail around a wheat field, going East initially. This trail is very pretty and easy to follow. It's about half a mile and takes 10 or 15 minutes to walk. There are a couple of wet/muddy spots so be mindful. Be dressed for gravel on the trail, uneven footing on the wheat field trail, and potential water and mud puddles on the property in wet seasons and after rain. The main trail runs North/South so if you want a sunny walk, go at midday. A shady walk, go after 3 p.m. Cooler times are before 11 a.m. We plan to add a trail through the woods in the fall once the insects and ticks die off. Take advantage of a country setting to roam off lease with your dog and get some fresh country air in your lungs. Ticks are prevalent in the area, be diligent. Most of all, enjoy!

Will have access to the orchard, as well as side field pictured in sky shot. A short drive to many local wineries and eateries if you’re looking for something to do after the walk

A beautiful 50 acres with gradual hills and a giant “bowl” in the centre of the property covered in wild flowers with astounding views of Cavan. A four season outdoor gem; cross country ski or snowshoe with your furry friends in the winter and hike the rest of the year. There is a very small pond in the NW corner of the property hidden in the cedars.
