On our 26 acre hobby farm, we have a 6 acre fully fenced farm field/dog park. Ride up and park at the white barn, and walk your leashed puppers to the field past our gardens, woodlots, and ponds. From the barn to the dog park you will get familiar with our surroundings and other fences. There is access to the forest and two ponds on the property. Crossing through the tree line, you have private access to the 6-acre field. Four-foot tall fencing is installed for your security. The best time to come is May to September. Come walk between the sunflower rows that grow up to 10 feet tall in the late summer! We cut the field between the sunflowers, make trails and play spots. We also leave big areas untouched for our honeybees (hives located in the other field). Enjoy seeing natural landscapes, trees, and privacy. Have fun, play catch and let your animal have unleashed freedom! We have uploaded a printable "safety map" for each season, that contains a legend for your use. Note the fire pit is not available during the winter season. Park has one main gate. This season we will also be placing picnic tables with a BBQ for large groups. I recommend booking the summer weekends in advance as they will fill up fast! Fencing Details: The 6-acre Dog Park Field is permanently fenced with approximately 2,500 linear feet of 4’ tall farm fence. The farm fence consists of professionally installed 2” by 4” squares of wire mesh (commonly used for smaller livestock such as sheep, donkey, cows, etc) and cedar posts. If you look at the photos you can see the locations of the gate on the main photo or on “safety map” (see photos and captions). We have more fencing on other parts of the property outside of our dog park in case your dog does not have good recall. Refer to the safety map (see photos). When the hay is high and close to being cut, the outer headlands of the fields will be cut down to make walking easier. After too many scary calls at local dog parks with my clients babies, I decided to build my own "dog paddock" so we could all stay home and have fun and be safe. Just over 1/2 acre of grassy rolling land with a great sand pit for digging. Natural obstacles and toys in the warmer weather. Located conveniently right on Highway 12 just south of Greenbank between Uxbridge and Port Perry. Only about 12 minutes from Brooklin, 17 minutes to Whitby and 12 minutes from Sunderland I also have an INDOOR sand arena available for anyone that needs indoor training space. ALSO it shows spots not available until 11am BUT contact if you want earlier visit - I can do earlier but there may be horses visible to your dog. Field is approx 150x50ft. This only includes the left side of the field which is empty for great games of fetch or just a little off leash running around. Ranch fencing so there are gaps between boards that small dogs could get through, 45in tall.

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD The Ireland farm is a 7 acre loop trail around our property, there is gravel, mulch, mud, grass a small pond and two grass cut acres for running and playing fetch. We have a fire pit with seating in one of the grass acres. (Bring your own wood) There is a 1/4 acre fenced area behind the red barn with a slide and a platform for dogs to jump and run! Inside the red barn you will find a drinking fountain for the dogs, along with a hose. Please do not leave the hose running as we are on a well. But use to wash dogs off or cool them off on a hot day :) There are no longer Alpacas and goats here as they’ve moved to the farm down the road. But you will come across Canadian Geese and Wild Turkeys, and sometimes Deer.
