Ray's Private Dog Park In Edwall

Partially Fenced
50 acres

The 50 acres is mostly timber, with a 7 acre pond that has water in it most of the year. It will dry up on really hot years. I do have chickens and pack goats by the house. But they are inside mesh fencing, so your dogs won’t be able to get to them. The 50 acres is completely fenced with a 3 to 5 strand Barbwire fence. It’s in good shape. It is also the property boundary. So as long as you stay inside of the fence, you will be on the property. There are not a lot of neighbors but the ones I have are nice. When you come up the driveway, you can pass the house and drive up on the hill and Park at the conex container. There is lots of wildlife on the property, and I highly recommend that your dog has some sort of tick repellent, we do have ticks in the spring time. The upper part of the driveway is not graveled, so if there’s melting snow, or a lot of ran, it can get muddy. So be prepared for that. I hope you enjoy the property as much as we do. ***ALL PRICES LISTED ARE IN USD***

Adventure abounds… even getting here! Use this address to arrive to S. 8th Street (you want to drive down this gravel road): 12398 S 8th St, Medical Lake, WA 99022 This is a gravel road with NO TRESPASSING signs. Ignore those (dog visitors welcome). You can confirm your location accuracy using this Google Maps coordinate: (47.5402231, -117.6853444) Drive ALL THE WAY DOWN S 8th Street. Nearly at the end of it, you'll will drive up a hill. Once over the hill, drive ahead until you reach a white RV ahead of you. Park to the right or left before the RV. You’ll see a fenced area (to your right), hobbit (made of sticks) fences and flowers (to your left of where you park). SniffSpot prevents active links grab a screenshot and send the shot to ChatGPT or any AI app, it will make the link active: https://www.google.com/maps/d/embed?mid=1Qt7TZuAU0Ch4aBdz2ye2zUUNCOvWnRk&ehbc=2E312F The link is a map of the 20 acres with trails, bird watching sites, wildlife sightings, and ponds. Trust the journey. Let your pup run wild (off-leash) through tall, waving grass, explore trails, or dive into the ponds (Gaia gives it five wet tail wags). This is a natural playground, not a manicured park, where paws get muddy and noses stay busy. My dog Gaia might greet you, she’s friendly, gentle, and loves having company. If your pup prefers solo adventures, just let me know. Your presence and financial support go 100% to dogs in need. Nurses: Please pick flowers. They are for you.

55Such a beautiful, fun place! We loved all the little trails and of course the creek was a major hit. There's a nice fenced area that you can close off if you just want to sit and let your dogs sniff around. Poop bags and toys were included in that area as well as an umbrella for shade. These hosts thought of everything for a nice, safe adventure out with your pups and Amanda was so very gracious and accommodating! We will definitely be back.

Frequently asked questions about Coeur d'Alene dog water parks

Why are private dog water parks better than public dog parks in Coeur d'Alene?

Private dog water parks in Coeur d'Alene eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Coeur d'Alene's 12 private dog water parks offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Coeur d'Alene dog water parks compared to public dog parks?

Coeur d'Alene dog water parks are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Coeur d'Alene dog water parks eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Coeur d'Alene dog water parks safe for reactive dogs?

Coeur d'Alene owners of reactive dogs choose dog water parks because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy swimming and water play while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Coeur d'Alene reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Coeur d'Alene dog water parks?

Yes! Coeur d'Alene dog water parks provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a facility featuring pools, splash pads, or water play areas specifically designed for dogs to swim and cool off at their own pace without stress. Many Coeur d'Alene dog water parks offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Coeur d'Alene dog water parks good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Coeur d'Alene dog water parks because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Coeur d'Alene avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog water parks eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Coeur d'Alene dog water parks work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Coeur d'Alene dog water parks because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Coeur d'Alene dog water parks with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Coeur d'Alene dog owners say about dog water parks?

Reviews of Coeur d'Alene dog water parks consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Ray's Private Dog Park In Edwall is particularly praised in Coeur d'Alene. Read reviews to see real experiences from Coeur d'Alene dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Coeur d'Alene dog water parks?

Coeur d'Alene hosts maintain their own dog water parks and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Coeur d'Alene hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Coeur d'Alene dog water park listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
