Billie's Private Dog Park In Qualicum Beach

Fully Fenced
0.25 acres

Hi! I'm Sami Micelli and I help manage my family's micro farm on the West coast in Canada. My frenchie canine bestie was Billie and our Sniffspot is named after her. She passed away in February suddenly and our yard is missing that lovely dog energy! If you are looking for a private fenced yard for dogs on Vancouver Island, you have the perfect place! The yard is green in the spring, summer & fall. It's rainy and grey in the winter but still a charming outdoor spot for dog exercise, play and relaxation. Indoor bookings are currently not available. We look forward to hosting your K9s! Any questions, please drop me a line! Happy to answer them 🐾 ***IMPORTANT message from Sniffspot: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD***

Frequently asked questions about Comox dog fields

What amenities do Comox dog fields typically include?

Comox dog fields feature amenities designed for full-speed running and fetch: wide-open grass fields, fetch lanes, and open running space, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Comox hosts customize their spaces. Browse 3 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

How much does it cost to use Comox dog fields?

Sniffspot runs on a membership model with monthly and annual plans that include credits toward Comox dog park bookings. Members get discounted rates at participating Comox spots, and new users can start with a 7-day free trial. There are no surprise booking fee. Your credits cover the reservation. Browse Comox dog fields listings to see individual spot pricing, and check your membership dashboard to see how many credits you have available.

How clean are private dog fields in Comox compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Comox see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog fields have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Comox hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Comox dog fields on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Comox dog fields offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Comox private dog fields let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog fields in Comox?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Comox that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Comox dog fields have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Comox dog fields allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Comox dog fields welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Comox where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Comox dog fields for special events?

Many Comox dog fields welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Comox hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Comox dog field listings for event policies.

How do Comox dog fields accommodate dogs with special needs?

Comox dog fields are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Comox special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
