We are Dan & Laura. We own 3+ acres of a cleared, mowed grass field area PLUS 7 acres of wooded ‘truck width’ trails. The trails are maintained with our mower, so no or minimal brush on them, making them easy to navigate. They are also color coded marked for ease of sense of direction. These woods are ‘working’ woods, as we harvest fallen trees to use for heat, so it is NOT Metro Park pristine! The trails are dirt, of course, and will be muddy- according to the weather conditions… However…. There always seems to be trails that maintain their drained dryness more than others. Our trails cover the entire perimeter of the property! They weave in and out among themselves! Quite a fun adventure! Pictured are wildlife- however- there is absolutely no guarantee you will see any. We have NO domestic deer like most suburbs do, so there may be NO sightings- just hoof prints. If you book in advance (rather than same day booking) you will have guaranteed access to warm hose water during the cooler/ cold months. You are permitted to vape, smoke and bring a cooler. If bringing kids please let me know. I will try to plant a feather or something for them to ‘find’ - Parking is on site, the side slots off the drive, as shown in the pictures. Dog bags, scooper, gloves ~ located in storage container~ on porch decking. There is a small cattle farm to one side, and is otherwise landlocked, aside from the 400 foot entrance. The trails are not professional, and the location offers a wilderness of fun. Stay on the trail, or don't. Let your dog go where it's nose leads! There is partial fencing on two sides. There are domestic and wild animals on the property, it’s your call to leash or to not leash your pet, we are on a major highway road so I would recommend if you off leash your dog that they have good recall skills.
