Field & Trees 10 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Homerville

We are Dan & Laura. We own 3+ acres of a cleared, mowed grass field area PLUS 7 acres of wooded ‘truck width’ trails. The trails are maintained with our mower, so no or minimal brush on them, making them easy to navigate. They are also color coded marked for ease of sense of direction. These woods are ‘working’ woods, as we harvest fallen trees to use for heat, so it is NOT Metro Park pristine! The trails are dirt, of course, and will be muddy- according to the weather conditions… However…. There always seems to be trails that maintain their drained dryness more than others. Our trails cover the entire perimeter of the property! They weave in and out among themselves! Quite a fun adventure! Pictured are wildlife- however- there is absolutely no guarantee you will see any. We have NO domestic deer like most suburbs do, so there may be NO sightings- just hoof prints. If you book in advance (rather than same day booking) you will have guaranteed access to warm hose water during the cooler/ cold months. You are permitted to vape, smoke and bring a cooler. If bringing kids please let me know. I will try to plant a feather or something for them to ‘find’ - Parking is on site, the side slots off the drive, as shown in the pictures. Dog bags, scooper, gloves ~ located in storage container~ on porch decking. Beautiful spot with lots of wide open spaces for big runs and fun things to sniff. Lots of toys provided, as well as a kiddy pool with fresh water changed daily to keep your pups cool in the summer. I will not put on the kiddy pool on days when it will be less than 60 degrees during your visit unless specifically requested, which you are welcome to do. Look for the big rock with the address number on it, come all the way up the driveway, park near the basketball hoop, then bring the dog(s) through the gate between the barn and the house. Please note one section of the yard has chickens. They are well protected in a sturdy coop; your dog(s) won’t be able to get to them. But if you are worried about their reactivity, that section of the yard is in the back, and it will start off with the gate closed, your dog won’t see them. But if you’re not worried about it or unsure, you’re welcome to open the gate to that portion of the yard, the chickens will still be secured.
