The Long and Short of it Park

We have a large backyard that is fully fenced. Most of the fence is six foot or taller privacy fence, with four foot fencing along the driveway. There is plenty of space for dogs to run and play plus shade and outdoor seating if you want to take a break. There is water outside too. Please pick up after your dogs and just drop any waste in the small trash can by the back of the garage. There is space under the storage shed where smaller dogs can go underneath. It’s fine there’s nothing under there but some leaves and such and we will close that area off soon. Come enjoy the backyard! We are sure our dogs look forward to all the new smells from visitors too!

We have a 2 acre property, which includes approximately a half acre fenced area, a 1 acre unfenced area, and a separately fenced inground pool area. Only dogs are allowed in the swimming pool (unless you're actively helping or playing with them). Two creeks outline our property and dogs are welcome anywhere on the property. We tend to keep the grass in the back of the property a bit longer to support the bees, but it also makes for lots more sniffing for the pups! If you're using the unfenced portion of the yard, dogs must be on leash. We have dogs of our own, but we will keep them secure in the house when you're using the property so you'll have the whole yard and pool to yourself. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

Hi! We are so excited to share our little oasis with your pups this summer! Come enjoy our fully fenced in backyard with a pool, lounge area and .5 acre yard! We kindly ask that upon arrival you go around to the left side of the house to access the yard! Please give your pup a rinse with our hose before getting into the pool! We have towels and pool toys available for your use and just ask that you return them in the bins at the end of your time with us. You will also find water bowls, poop bags and treats for your pups to enjoy! There is one sofa made of wicker that the dogs are allowed to lay on, all other furniture please DO NOT let your dog on the furniture.
