*all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD* Stunning 4 acre farm in whenuapai. Mostly dog proof fenced except for a couple paddocks where care should be taken around damaged fencing by fallen trees. There’s a lovely creek running through the property so great for dogs that love splashing in water. Only available on weekends and from 1pm weekdays. Thanks
****IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD we had to update pricing to go towards fixing a fence, thank you for your understanding*** Keep in mind conversion rate when booking. The website shows US currency. So 11 dollars US is roughly 14/15 dollars Canadian for an hour per dog. Then the website does 50 percent off 2nd dogs. For now we only allow 3 dogs at a time for a guest, no large groups. I am going to try my best to block off 30 minute breaks in between guests. The site doesn't do that automatically so as people book I will try my best to create a block on the calendar to avoid a cross over between a guest. This is a mostly open area field. Space does include a small wooded area within the fenced area. Bathroom available on site in a barn for emergency. SMOKE FREE ZONE. Pick up after dogs, garbage bin provided. There are some small gaps in the fence, so this is a great spot for large and medium sized dogs. Very small dogs can potentially slip under the gate and through sections of the fencing. There is a section of barbed wire fencing which will be upgraded soon. I've tried to set the calendar to have hours operating 9 am to 6 pm every day of the week. No last minute bookings. 4 hour window needed, so that I can arrange someone to be on site if you need assistance. Please keep dogs leashed until it is your time slot and are in the designated area. Please read the essential rules the website has suggested in order to keep this a fun and safe place for dogs. Guests can be blocked from booking again if they do not respect the space. SPRING AND SUMMER ANNOUNCEMENTS *Hours will extend with sunset *Once the field has more secure fencing on the one half of the field we will allow visitors to bring more than 3 dogs (if you are a dog pack walker) *We will be adding a doggy splash pad and a kiddie pool with fresh water as an add on option. ,Thank you to all our visitors, every one has so far been amazing and courteous dog owners.
NOTE: All prices are in USD Located just a short drive south of the city. We have plenty of space to let your dog run, play, and explore. From open fields, trails, forests, and a pond, there is no shortage of exciting things for your dog to discover. You may even see some deer or wild turkeys during your visit. All dogs welcome! The property is not fenced, but there is plenty of off leash space. If you are unsure and would like to borrow an 15 foot lead, we can lend one to you.

If it happens to you please take a photo as evidence and contact me on 0210310931. Thanks for your understating *** Available for use is approximately one acre of grass (short and long) with a small section of young native trees. The property is well fenced with 1.5m deer fencing all round. After heavy rains there is sometimes a large pond at the lowest point which is great fun for the dogs. There are some older aerial photos, the blue indicates the property boundaries and the red is where to park. Rules - Please pick up any dog poop - Please keep your dogs on lead until inside the fenced area - Do not park blocking the shared driveway - Please be respectful to neighbours and their stock - Please turn off the hose at the tap when finished

20 acres enclosed with 4' high woven wire fence, a mix of open field and heavy woods, sometimes turkey, grouse, gophers, and bunnies, lots of "sniff therapy"! Private entrance is shaded with easy access right onto the wooded trails! The portapotty and dog rinse station are located in the parking area. We have bug sprays and poop bags at the entrance and the far end of the field for you to use if needed. Special visitation hours or larger groups may be available under prior arrangement. Shoot us a message, and we can usually make larger groups or people traveling to/from dog competitions happen! For those traveling, we might also be able to accommodate visits outside of our normal hours. ***now that we have freezing temps at night, we are not leaving water out in the field.***
Now open again for spring. 2/5/24! This is a huge pasture with sloped hills and a creek running through the bottom. Almost 5 acres of fenced pasture is used for horses and goats in the winter and hay in the summer. Grass will be long at times. The creek is shallow and lots to see and sniff! Tree covered places if you don’t want sun and many beautiful views for everyone to enjoy and play. If you have never been to this spot, it is worth the drive! This is the 2nd spot and close to the 1st spot. Please be sure to follow the directions. My goal for these spots is to be available for all dog owners who need it. I do have clients that book a month out at a time in order to get the time they would like. All I want is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Please pack out all trash, there are no trash cans onsite. Enjoy!
******* Note this Sniffspot App was created in the USA so the funds charged to your credit card will be in US dollars. I’m very sorry if that’s an inconvenience for you. Please feel free to google the exchange rate of US funds to Canadian to gauge approximately how much you’ll be paying for your visit. As well as PICK UP YOUR DOGS POOP, and if you happen to see one not picked up, please pick it up as you might not have noticed that yours might have did it. Thanks so much for understanding!******************** Come enjoy our 40 acre nature walk with your family and best furiends 🐕. It’s approximately a 1/2 mile long from the old green shop parking area to the end of the big top pasture. The very large grass pasture at the top of the hill is edged with wild brush (and a very old 4 foot page wire fence) on the outside perimeter (that some dogs will be able to get through). There are 2 smaller pastures at the bottom of the hill before the bush areas as well, and one side has a little bit of a pond/standing water on it. You could also see some wildlife on your walk. We hope you will consider us for your dogs exercise needs, and are looking forward to having you explore our private ranch pasture. 🐾 🐾
Bring your 4 legged friends out to explore. Small farm located at the end of a private dirt road. Quiet peaceful setting with plenty of shade trees and a swing. Horses, pig and dogs on premises (dogs kept inside, horses in barn while guests are visiting). Small pond with dock available to let your dog swim and practice diving. Absolutely No alligators in pond I get asked this often. 🙂 Doggy wash station and water hose provided.
Welcome! We are excited to have you and grateful to our guests for making us the 3rd most visited SniffSpot in all of Florida Got a big, energetic dog who needs a lot of space to run? You’ve found it! If your dog is happiest in the water, we are here for you! We are a haven for dogs with Strong Opinions about things! 🤗 Doesn’t love people? Come on over! Hates other pets? That’s cool! Lives to chase squirrels and moles? We’re overrun, you do you! We are blessed with 19 gorgeous acres of ♿️ HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE pasture, ancient live oak hammocks, and trails surrounding 3 ponds and a creek leading to a cypress swamp. It’s Old Florida at its very BEST. Canter Woods is on the corner of two dead-end dirt roads with barely any traffic. We are now FULLY FENCED so your dog can safely work out every ounce of excess energy! Seating and picnic tables are provided throughout the property, and there is plenty of natural shade. We have a private road that runs all around the inside of the fence, so if your dog likes to run alongside you while you pedal, go ahead and bring your bicycle! The road/trail is almost completely shaded, so even on the hottest of days, it’s quite pleasant. One of our trails, which fully accommodates any vehicle, leads directly to our main seating area adjacent to not one but two ponds. Guests who use a wheelchair, crutches, or a walker can make it from their vehicle to a sturdy chair or lounger in just 6-8 feet ♿️ If you would like access to this parking spot, simply arrange with us. Our shallow swimming ponds are fed nonstop by a deep artesian well. We also have plenty of wildlife—depending on how rambunctious your dog might be, you may see otters, soft shelled turtles, tortoises, wood ducks, raccoons, armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels. We also have a plentiful supply of water birds—herons, egrets, and more. We are a Certified Wildlife Habitat™️! 🍃🌱🌿🪵🐇 We have horses on the premises in paddocks, and they’re tolerant of dogs and their mischief and love ♥️ our SniffSpot dog guests. Hopefully your dog is tolerant of these large mysterious creatures and doesn’t harass them! If you think your dog might be aggressive with the horses and get over or under their sturdy 4-foot paddock fence, please use a leash when in proximity of the barn and paddock! Do note that our horses are ridden and worked often, so there’s always the possibility that you will encounter “evidence” of a horse having passed there before you 😉 As we say around here, that’s farm life for ya! If that kind of thing bothers you, this probably isn’t the right spot for you. We are not manicured lawn—we are a farm and woods and a certified wildlife habitat. Note that we do have some predator animals such as hawks, owls, and the occasional bobcat, so this area is best suited for dogs over about 15 pounds. We keep our 4-lb chihuahua mostly inside, since we moved here. Parking is near the main entrance gate, close to the barn, and you are invited to start off your visit on the trails, following Bambi’s Run at the main entrance. Poop bags, maps, and a trash can are located on a pine tree at the parking area and near the horse paddock. ✨ PLEASE NOTE: We are specifically requesting that you do NOT come to our farm to “check us out” WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Please respect that Canter Woods is also our home, and we are closed to anyone who doesn’t have an appointment. For our security and the safety of our guests and their dogs, we have surveillance cameras in use at all our entrances. MEMBERS-ONLY HOURS: We reserve before-work 7:30-10:30 am, Saturday mornings until noon, and all day on Sundays for dog lovers who have chosen to be members. Members also get a lower rate that’s never subject to a price increase + free use of our wash rack and dog shampoo! (a big bonus for the big dogs in our lives!) WE ARE CLOSED ON TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS 🦋
