Beagle Boot Camp

Fully Fenced
9 acres

This spot was developed as a starting pen for beagles. Brush piles, food plots, and secure cover were established for rabbits. Elevated observation decks (use at your own risk) were built for dog owners to observe their dog working a running rabbit. This spot is designed for beagle use but is multi use for all breeds of dogs. This spot is located in the "country" with easy parking and access. There are very few distractions which allows you the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful experience on mowed trails with plenty of area to investigate, and plenty of scents to stimulate your dogs sniffer.

Yoko's 12 Acres Quiet Meadow & 1 Acre Hidden Pond behind the Red Barn

Partially Fenced
12 acres

This is not just a place for dogs to run. It’s a quiet piece of land by the pond — a space where dogs can explore freely, and humans can slow down for a moment. In early spring, the pond may still be lightly frozen. The air feels crisp, and everything is just beginning to wake up. By summer, it becomes a place full of movement — water, grass, and happy, muddy paws. We’ve kept the space simple on purpose: • A natural pond for curious swimmers • Open field for running freely • Trees that offer shade, calm, and a place to pause No crowds. No noise. Just your time. Whether your dog loves to chase, sniff, swim, or simply wander — this space lets them be exactly who they are. And maybe, you’ll feel it too.

Mel's 15 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Laingsburg

Unfenced
15 acres

Lovely 150 year old decommissioned farm that has been rewilding for 40 years. It has been held as a private wildlife refuge and has been farm and garden chemical free for many years. Trails wind through meadows, woods, and across frozen marsh in the wintertime. Encounter deer, turkey, crane, friendly crows, songbirds, raptors, a wide variety of wildflowers and trees. Also the occasional bunny, fox, coyote, raccoon squirrels and chipmunks pass through. In sheltering spots like my wood chip pile, I have seen snakes and salamanders. In season there are berries and fruit from wild apple and pear trees scattered along the trails. Note that this is a natural area resulting from the rewilding process and not a groomed and open park-like setting. But the trails are wide and mowed regularly for ease of walking. In the woods be prepared to navigate the occasional sticks and branches that may be on the path as typical of a natural woodlot. Wear sturdy walking shoes. This is an exciting place for dogs to sniff around! Looking forward to your visit!

Frequently asked questions about Fenwick dog hiking trails

Why are private dog hiking trails better than public dog parks in Fenwick?

Private dog hiking trails in Fenwick eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Fenwick's 20 private dog hiking trails offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Fenwick dog hiking trails compared to public dog parks?

Fenwick dog hiking trails are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Fenwick dog hiking trails eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Fenwick dog hiking trails safe for reactive dogs?

Fenwick owners of reactive dogs choose dog hiking trails because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy natural exploration and varied terrain while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Fenwick reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Fenwick dog hiking trails?

Yes! Fenwick dog hiking trails provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a natural outdoor path where dogs can explore varied terrain off-leash in a safe, private environment at their own pace without stress. Many Fenwick dog hiking trails offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Fenwick dog hiking trails good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Fenwick dog hiking trails because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Fenwick avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog hiking trails eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Fenwick dog hiking trails work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Fenwick dog hiking trails because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Fenwick dog hiking trails with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Fenwick dog owners say about dog hiking trails?

Reviews of Fenwick dog hiking trails consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Beagle Boot Camp is particularly praised in Fenwick. Read reviews to see real experiences from Fenwick dog owners with similar needs.

How clean and maintained are Fenwick dog hiking trails?

Fenwick hosts maintain their own dog hiking trails and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Fenwick hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Fenwick dog hiking trail listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
