Nature Lover's 5-Acre Wooded Retreat with Trails

Enjoy five peaceful acres of open space, wooded trails, native gardens, and plenty of interesting places for your dog to sniff and explore. Walk the paths throughout the property, wander through the native garden, watch for butterflies, or relax on the shaded bench while your dog explores. The entire five-acre property is available for your visit. Guests may use the wooded trails, bench, water pump, portable dog pool, and dog bowl. The human swimming pool, house patio and deck, private garage, and right-side driveway are off limits. Our property is 100% chemical-free. We do not use pesticides, herbicides, or other sprays anywhere on the property. The spot is not fenced. Trees line three sides of the property, while the front is open. The wooded trails and natural areas may include uneven ground, fallen branches, burrs, ticks, mosquitoes, seasonal snow, and leaves covering parts of the trail. Poison ivy is possible in any wooded setting, although we have not seen it on the property. With lots of greenery, flowers, wooded backdrops, and open space, the property is also a great place to capture beautiful photos of your dog during your visit.

Watertown Dog Park

The Watertown Dog Park in Wisconsin offers a variety of amenities for dogs and their owners to enjoy. Located at 1534 Boomer St # 1410, the park features a field and trail for pets to play and exercise. Additionally, there is a dog drinking water station available. The park is open from 6 AM to 10 PM every day of the week, providing ample time for dogs to socialize and have fun in a safe environment.

There are a few surprises along the trail and a few areas to stop and take a break and hang out with your pups. Our trail is also the home of Emmy's Rustic Run - an annual fundraiser we hold on the property to raise money for The A-T Children's project. Our home is a small hobby farm with an orchard, horses, cats, turkeys, and chickens. We regularly see deer, hawks, cardinals, blue jays, monarchs, raccoons, and the occasional fox or coyote. Our chickens keep the place tick free without using any chemicals. Our orchard is 100% organic and we don’t treat the grass either. We have walking trails and open spaces to let a dog run free, but your dog must have a programmable gps or have great recall, as we don’t want your dog chasing our birds or horses.
