55Great location! Big property with plenty of space to run. My
Dog was too big for the training tunnel lol but they had some cool agility tools. Plenty of toys n balls. Great for a dog that loves to run n fetch while you sit in the covered swing. Will for sure be coming back Jonathan N.

55Beautiful spot! Easy to find, very clear directions. Long and narrow lot with the shade/porch swing at the far end.
The agility equipment was great to have, and we'll definitely be back!
Some chickens visible/audible on the other side of the fence and a couple vehicles driving by, but no dogs/people/large livestock visibleElliott P.

55The space was huge & spacious for sniffing & exploring! There is plenty of balls/toys for tossing, fetching, agility course to try out, & chair/pagoda to relax for the humans. Also as noted, there is LOTS of poop bags & receptacles available which is super convenient for picking up poop. We did hear barking at a distance but did not see dogs or other domestic animals. The field is mowed & dry this time of year.
For reactive dogs visiting: My dog is reactive (fearful of) other dogs, not humans. The day of our visit, it was earlier in the morning around 8:30 am. We did spot 2 different dogs with their humans at separate times going on their walk on the road upon our arrival. My dog did not see them since we waited until they passed. We mostly stayed at the upper 2/3 of the field away from road. No other dogs were seen walking during our visit. The road does not have sidewalk or walking friendly access so there would be a lower chance of foot traffic with dog walkers. Keep that in mind if your dog can run the full length of the field to bark/lunge/charge as dogs walking by along the road. Overall, we felt comfortable enough in the space & would visit again. cathy w.

55Perfect for long ball throws and dogs that love to run. There's also some fun agility equipment set up (tunnel, jumps, and weave poles) and balls tied up on a cable to bat around and tug. Simon had an absolute blast.
Only challenge was the goats and chickens on the other side of the fence - we definitely had to redirect him because they are apparently fascinating. I also felt bad because he startled them too. If your dog is similar, stick closer to the end near the gate. Heather W.

55My dog Daisy loves coming here! There is so much space for her to run around and it’s stocked with fun toys and balls for her to play with. There was even a little agility course which is new! She was too distracted by one of the balls to participate, but maybe next time we’ll try it out. Leslie B.

555 stars like always! Thank you Jim for adding the solar lights and the new step at the covered swing. Love it!!
I do agree with another members post that it is not Jim’s responsibility or any other visitors responsibility to clean up after your dog/dogs. Jim provides many scoopers, poop bags and garbage cans. Please use them.
This is the best SniffSpot in town. We need to keep it that way. Theresa M.

552nd time at this wonderful location. My pup loves it here, especially after being cooped up at home the last couple of days because of the smoky air. This scenic rural location is also a nice place for me to have some unwind time away from the daily grind. Highly recommended!Sunil S.

55Jim's spot is great! It's clean with thoughtful amenities and my boy had the best time. My only concern is the fence against the road is less than 5ft tall, maybe 4.5ft at the highest, and is a wire fence. This is only an issue if your dog is prey-driven like mine... I will, sadly, not be back to this location for that reason. I'm still giving 5 stars because, for most dogs, what is provided is perfect. Thank you, Jim! Ashley F.

Frequently asked questions about Grant dog agility parks
Why are private dog agility parks better than public dog parks in Grant?
Private dog agility parks in Grant eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Grant's 9 private dog agility parks offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.
How safe are Grant dog agility parks compared to public dog parks?
Grant dog agility parks are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Grant dog agility parks eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.
Are Grant dog agility parks safe for reactive dogs?
Grant owners of reactive dogs choose dog agility parks because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy agility training and mental stimulation while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Grant reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.
Can anxious dogs safely use Grant dog agility parks?
Yes! Grant dog agility parks provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a space equipped with obstacles like tunnels, jumps, and weave poles for agility training at their own pace without stress. Many Grant dog agility parks offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.
Are Grant dog agility parks good for small dogs?
Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Grant dog agility parks because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Grant avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog agility parks eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.
Do Grant dog agility parks work for senior dogs?
Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Grant dog agility parks because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Grant dog agility parks with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.
What do Grant dog owners say about dog agility parks?
Reviews of Grant dog agility parks consistently highlight: excellent privacy for all dog types, secure fencing that prevented escapes, clean and well-maintained spaces, responsive hosts, and safe environments for anxious, fearful, reactive, senior, and small dogs. Local favorite Just Barking around in Sebastopol is particularly praised in Grant. Read reviews to see real experiences from Grant dog owners with similar needs.
How clean and maintained are Grant dog agility parks?
Grant hosts maintain their own dog agility parks and take pride in providing excellent experiences. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers). Many Grant hosts provide poop bags, trash cans, and regular cleaning. Reviews highlight maintenance quality—browse Grant dog agility park listings to see real feedback about cleanliness and upkeep.
