The Back 40

When you book "The Back 40" you have access to the original, smaller, The Mannerly Dog Sniffspot, so no one will be using it while you're here! You'll still have your own private dog park, just a bigger one. You will not see us or our dogs. One neighbor has chickens - they are catty-corner to The Back 40, in the rear. They are in a pen and may cluck or crow at times. the yard catty-corner on the other side occasionally has a couple of dogs in it, but it's pretty rare - it could happen though. You might see or hear humans on the other side of the wooden fence that runs the full 300 feet along the side of both Sniffspots. Otherwise, the area is serene and quiet with plenty of squirrels and birds. Sit and rest or play with your dog - either way, we hope you enjoy your visit!

Out The Kennel: Private Splash & Agility Yard

Welcome to Out The Kennel — a fully fenced private dog yard in Houston built for off-leash play, zoomies, sniffing, training, and cool-down time away from crowded public dog parks. The space includes open yard room plus guest-friendly features like a splash pad/water play setup for hot days, shade umbrella, seating/table for humans, dog drinking water, poop bags, trash disposal, dog toys, and agility equipment. It’s a good fit for dogs who enjoy private play, puppies practicing recall, senior dogs who need a calmer space, and pups who do better without dog park chaos.
