Gambel Field

Fully Fenced
1 acre

Fully fenced and off the beaten path. With right at 1 full acre, there is plenty of room for your dog(s) to run. A perfect place to work on off leash commands/training or just to let off steam. This private fenced field looks out over a larger 14 acre grassy field. Gambel Field has some new features! We recently completed a new retaining wall. This change makes the spot a little bit bigger and makes the water hose easier to access. We have also installed a new 12' x 20' shade structure over the picnic table and park bench. The larger field is also available for animal events and training areas. Inquire for more information on the large field.

Frequently asked questions about Horseshoe Trails dog fields

What do private dog fields in Horseshoe Trails offer that public parks don't?

Private dog fields in Horseshoe Trails offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for full-speed running and fetch, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Horseshoe Trails can't guarantee any of this. With 11 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.

Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Horseshoe Trails?

Yes! Most of Horseshoe Trails's 11 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Horseshoe Trails listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.

When can puppies start visiting dog fields in Horseshoe Trails?

Puppies can visit Horseshoe Trails dog fields as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore full-speed running and fetch without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Horseshoe Trails trainers specifically use dog fields for puppy development.

How do I find private dog fields near me in Horseshoe Trails?

Browse Horseshoe Trails's 11 dog fields on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Horseshoe Trails listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite 14 Acres at Gambel Field is particularly popular among Horseshoe Trails dog owners.

Can I rent dog fields in Horseshoe Trails by the hour?

Yes! All 11 dog fields in Horseshoe Trails are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Horseshoe Trails dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.

What's the difference between Sniffspot dog fields and public dog parks in Horseshoe Trails?

The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Horseshoe Trails mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 11 Horseshoe Trails dog fields give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys full-speed running and fetch and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.

Are there indoor dog fields in Horseshoe Trails?

Yes! Horseshoe Trails has climate-controlled indoor dog fields perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Horseshoe Trails locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Horseshoe Trails weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.

How do Horseshoe Trails dog fields help with dog training?

Horseshoe Trails trainers love dog fields because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice long-distance recall across open space, running drills, or field sports like fetch and frisbee, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for full-speed running and fetch.
