Secluded Backyard at the Historic Fleur de Lys

Tucked behind one of St. Louis’s most magical historic estates, this is a rare backyard where your dog can really open up and run. There’s enough open ground for high-speed zoomies, plus the privacy of being set back from the street and shielded by the property itself. It’s quiet, secluded, and feels a world away from the city, even though you’re right in the middle of it. The Fleur de Lys is a piece of St. Louis history, and the backyard carries that same character: mature landscaping, room to roam, and a sense of stepping into somewhere special. Whether your pup wants to sprint full-out or just sniff around at their own pace, there’s space for it. About the host Hi, I’m Brennan. I’m the caretaker for the Fleur de Lys and live on the third floor with my son while the property is on the market. Hosting Sniffspot guests is a way for us to save toward our next move when it sells, and honestly, it’s a joy. Dog people are my favorite people. I haven’t had a dog of my own since mine passed from cancer five years ago. Losing him was hard, and I haven’t been in a season of life where I could give a dog the kind of dedication they deserve. So getting to spend time around other people’s pups, even briefly, means a lot. Bonus: licensed massage for your dog (and you!) I’m also a licensed massage therapist, and I offer massage for dogs as an add-on. Honestly, I love working on pups even more than I do humans, whether it’s an older dog with stiff joints, a working dog who needs to decompress, or just a goodboy who deserves to be pampered. Ask me about it when you book.

Compton Heights Private Dog Park In St. Louis

Sniff Through History at Trabert Manor Welcome to Trabert Manor, a magnificent 1890s Beaux-Arts estate tucked into the historic Compton Heights neighborhood. This fully fenced one-acre lawnscape offers pups a safe and spacious place to roam, zoom, sniff, and explore beneath the elegant architecture and mature trees of one of the city’s most beautiful historic districts. What truly makes this spot special, however, isn’t just the setting — it’s the incredible community of dogs and dog lovers who visit. Over time we’ve welcomed the most delightful parade of pups: joyful zoomers, thoughtful sniffers, gentle seniors, curious puppies, and the occasional dramatic stick-collector. Their humans are just as wonderful — kind, respectful, and clearly devoted to their four-legged companions. We’re grateful for each of you who helps make this space feel so welcoming. Your pup will find plenty of room to roam, a polished lawn perfect for running or rolling, and a calm, upscale environment where dogs can simply be dogs. We provide water, toys, and clean-up supplies so you can relax and enjoy the visit. Reservations are kept intentionally spacious and peaceful, allowing every dog the time to explore without feeling rushed. Before or after your visit, we warmly encourage you to take a stroll through the beautiful tree-lined streets of Compton Heights. The historic homes, gardens, and views of nearby Compton Hill Reservoir Park make for a lovely walk with your pup. Thank you to all the wonderful dogs and devoted owners who have made Trabert Manor such a joyful place for wagging tails and happy memories. We look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged friend. — Trabert Manor

I have a nice screened in back porch for the humans to sit and hangout while the dogs do Zumiez through the yard, which is big enough for them to run back and forth quite a few times. I also have a water cooler for the humans out there and plenty of clean dog bowls for the important guest. There are a few toys in the porch area free to play with. Yard is always clean and fresh cut grass.

K9 Corner STL - Private Dog Run in Webster Groves

This is a privately owned empty residential lot (not a backyard) however there is a neighbor next to the property with a driveway in between. Property is a “pie shape” approximately 2,000 sqft. Fenced section is approximately 130’L with one end at 30’W and the other end at 6’. Entrance is at the corner of Atalanta Avenue and Glen Road. Street parking is on Glen Road (long fence side). The city does not allow signs (see photos for more clarification). This is a residential neighborhood; you will most likely see other people and dogs during your visit but not in the park with you. This is a self regulated private dog park / dog run similar to a regular dog park. There is not water on site however a bowl will be left on site (typically inside the toy box to keep it clean). A pet waste station is available along with a “used” poop bag bucket, trash receptacle, and some dog toys. Please remember to clean up after your dogs, put away toys, and throw away trash. Pesticide free - consider bringing bug spray. To keep moles away, mole spikes that vibrate in the ground are in use and you can hear a buzzing noise. The sand pit / tire area is for digging - please try to keep all digging isolated to the designated area only and try to fill in any holes dug by your dog outside of the pit area. Sun sail is up during spring/summer months only - that’s what the poles are for - no climbing please. Patio umbrellas can be lifted up (use crank) during your visit and MUST BE RETRACTED and use the secure strap at the end of your visit (please use common sense and do not put the umbrellas up if it’s super windy). There is a 5 dog max. We prefer no more than 3 humans to 1 dog; please use the “extra feature” for more visitors. Dogs should NEVER be left unattended. Please note. This park is for dogs to enjoy. This park is NOT a playground for kids/adults. The obstacles, agility equipment, and toys are for the dogs. Humans should not be climbing on the equipment or mis-using the toys. The neighbor does not want toys or tennis balls hitting their vehicles. If we see this type of behavior or rules not being followed, you will potentially be banned from future reservations. *Please understand this is mostly a self-regulated dog run/park. You MUST cleanup after your dog. However sometimes poop gets missed and I give everyone the benefit of the doubt it’s not done intentional. We want all visitors to have a great experience at K9 Corner.* **This spot is not a business to make money for profit. All proceeds are considered donation for upkeep of the dog run, lawn maintenance, dog toys, etc. If you have questions/comments/concerns, please text 314-384-2279.**

Big fenced in area set up for dogs to run and play. Good area for daily exercise when visiting St. Louis and you want a nice clean safe environment for the dogs.

Hills, Fields and Flowers

Temporarily under construction, but I'd love to hear from you if you'd be interested in exploring our spot! The spot is a little bit of a mess right now as grass seed was just sown in May 2025. However, soon this spot could be your pups favorite nature retreat in town. Filled with native, nontoxic plants, your pup will have countless encounters with fun smells while they explore the various sections of the spot. There is a large water bowl on the deck next to a side table with some amenities including dog bags, hand sanitizer and a mud towel. The main dumpster can be used for dog droppings. There are two households at the back of the spot with other dogs; a Great Pyrenees and two Chiweenies. They all love to play fence race, but are all friendly. You may access the spot by following the driveway to the wooden gate. The spot is entirely fenced with the shortest being 4 feet in height.
