Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully Fenced
2 acres

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too. A 24 hour notice allows enough time for someone else to fill a newly open reservation. Feel free to reach out via text 603-682-7216 with any questions or concerns. Enjoy! Melodie

Frequently asked questions about Keene dog agility parks

What amenities do Keene dog agility parks typically include?

Keene dog agility parks feature amenities designed for agility training and mental stimulation: agility equipment and parkour obstacles, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Keene hosts customize their spaces. Browse 12 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog agility parks in Keene with water access?

Many Keene dog agility parks include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Keene days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Keene hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog agility parks in Keene compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Keene see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog agility parks have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Keene hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Keene dog agility parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Keene dog agility parks offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Keene private dog agility parks let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog agility parks in Keene?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Keene that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Keene dog agility parks have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Keene dog agility parks allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Keene dog agility parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Keene where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Keene dog agility parks for special events?

Many Keene dog agility parks welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Keene hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Keene dog agility park listings for event policies.

How do Keene dog agility parks accommodate dogs with special needs?

Keene dog agility parks are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Keene special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
