Fresh drinking water is provided in stainless-steel bowls, and guests have access to a hose for water play, rinsing muddy paws or giving their dog a refreshing bath. Complimentary dog shampoo, basic bathing supplies and clean towels are available for your convenience. You will also find complimentary dog toys and treats to make your visit extra special. Please check treat ingredients before offering them to dogs with allergies or dietary restrictions. Dogs live inside my home, but they will remain securely indoors and out of sight during reservations. Your family will have private use of the reserved backyard space during your scheduled visit. Although my dogs will not enter the yard, visiting dogs may occasionally hear or smell them inside the house. Whether your dog needs room to burn off energy, a private place to train, a peaceful outing away from other dogs or a good old-fashioned romp and splash, Mel’s Backyard Dog Sanctuary is ready to welcome you.
