Wellcome to our small Naperville private home dog park area, yard is 100% pet friendly , no chemicals and everything is organically treated starting with constantly filling our green grass that looks and feels good almost whole year round having in mind that it been used quiet bit by multiple very active dogs , since we new to this we will be adding more things to make your play with your furry baby more comfortable and fun. We are a dog loving home located on a large lot right off the Illinois Prairie Path in Lombard! Perfect spot for owners who already walk their companions on the path to stop and have some playtime or extra training time. (We just ask you make reservations before planning your visit) We have a Newfoundland and Yorkie who will be inside during visits unless otherwise communicated & chickens who will be in their coop/chicken run. Our favorite times of year to see our Newfie play outside are winter (he loves to catch snowballs, chase our kids and then lay in the cold snow)…and the summer when he lays in the cool grass and plops himself down in the kiddie pool. We hope your doggies will love to enjoy our yard just as much!

Hi. I have recently retired, and now I pet babysit full time at my home. I am insured and bonded for pet sitting and pet boarding. I also allow dogs to run in the 3/4 acre fully fenced back yard. Fall/Winter update: the yard is DARK after 5pm. Hose is off for winterization, so please bring water. Our 1/2 acre fully fenced dog-friendly yard is here to host your special furry friends. We live a short, straight-shot drive from Chicago and are butt-up against the beautiful Salt Creek (and all the wild life that also calls the creek "home" - bunnies, squirrels, groundhogs, birds, garden snakes (harmless, but present in May), etc.). The head of Salt Creek Trail is located just a block away on Thomas Street, so feel free to explore the creek/trail after your yard time. It leads all the way to Villa Park, where you can catch the Prairie Path / Great Western Trail. You'll pass by MORE Brewing Company as well as outdoor bar and food trucks Fuel and Creme (ice cream). Make a day of it! Please note that even though the yard IS fully fenced, it is comprised of a variety of sizes shapes ranging from 6 feet privacy, raw iron, to 4 foot chain-link, barn wood with chicken wire between the wood gaps. You know your dog's "flight risk" better than anyone, so please make smart decisions when booking our yard. Dispose of poop bags in the BLUE TOP bin (green is recycle). Finally, note that we can only host 2 dogs at a time due to wear and tear on the yard. Have fun!

Therefore, we offer a private training/ enrichment room and equipment, approximate 2000 ft² where families can play with their dog in a safe, clean environment. Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.

A very securely fenced and lovely private area to train your dog or just let him or her run and be silly and play. There are often chickens and horses just on the other side of an adjacent fence which many dogs find interesting, but is not included in the accessible play area. A large portion of all funds raised is donated to a Senior Dog Sanctuary. Adults only with dogs unless other arrangements have been made with the property owner. (Owner reserves the right to cancel guests if rental area is too wet or muddy from recent rains in order to preserve the flora.)

Fully fenced in yard for all pups to come and play at! We have a gazebo with 3 chairs and a small table for the humans as well. One doggy agility jump that is adjustable to any size dog! Water hose available, we also have a crazy daisy for pups to play with. Plenty of tennis balls and healthy treats as well. Water bowls and fresh water is available for dogs and humans!

Payton’s playground is a spot where you can spend personal time with your dog by yourself without having to worry about others intruding in on your play session. We have agility equipment, pools, ramps, weaving poles, water bowls and more available at your disposal. It’s a great environment to be in & is directly adjacent to one of the best doggy daycares in Chicago, PupStars Pet Care. Welcome! Come on over and have some fun with your dog in a safe set up. Walk the trails in the forest and prairie to create stronger bond or practice off leash commands without distractions. Use the fenced in agility playground to boost your dog’s confidence or simply play around on the obstacles. The agility area is fully fenced in with 6foot fencing. There is another fully fenced in yard next to it that allows for lots of running. All income from your visit benefits 100% Doggy Has Soul Sanctuary helping strays and unwanted dogs in the US and Carribean.

I did not know that this was a thing so please excuse the yard if it is not up to par. Right now it is just a grassy fenced in spot. As I learn more I will try to make upgrades.

**We have added OPEN reservations from 8:30am to 5:30pm weekdays for people that would like to visit the yard prior to deciding if they would like to become full access Members.** We LOVE sharing our space with multiple dogs from the community however, it is hard on the grass. For this reason, we have limited our evening & weekend availability to Members Only to decrease the wear and tear on the yard. With the fluctuation in weather please be aware: If outdoor parks are wet and muddy ~ areas of our yard will be also. We cannot control the effects of rain. Please always use the provided carabiner to lock the gate as pictured after you and your dog(s) enter. We have installed multiple methods of LIGHTING for evening reservations. Easy instructions for use will be sent when you make the reservation. We do have a SHADE/RAIN SHELTER! :) WATER: We provide fresh water every 24hrs located in(or next to) the CORONA Cooler. PARKING: One FREE private parking space located at the entrance from the alley at the back of the lot. Since some guests were having a tough time with the parking space, we did finally WIDEN the entrance. We park 2 Honda CRV's back there daily without issue. Fully fenced 6 foot secure and private green space. Large open lot with seating and plenty of room to play fetch or just relax off leash. Easy street parking, no permit required. Any Extras will be located in the storage bin on the east wall of the lot. We have evening hours 6:00p to 9:30p for Members Only, 7 days per week.
