Mark's Funny Farm Dog Park In Longmont

This is a private 10 Acre Ranch called “The Funny Farm” here on the outskirts of Boulder County. I keep my front yard as a parking area and my backyard as a sanctuary!!! I’m from Annapolis, Maryland originally and so is my girlfriend. We’ve been together for 4 years here in Colorado. She has a 5 year old lil girl so we are kid friendly!!! Lost of toys for dogs and humans. My house is a tiny house… there is a bathroom you can use but we prefer to keep everyone outside, especially for the first visit. Our deck is amazing for sunrise/sunsets and it provides a nice view of the Rocky Mountain 🏔️ National Park. There’s a huge willow tree on my property so there’s plenty of shade in the back yard area… I used to have a swimming pond but it was too much trouble so I’m currently working on filling that in and making it a sitting patio. I’m a carpenter by trade… so I enjoy working outside. My family ran a nursery called Evergreen 🌲 Genes back in Maryland… so I grew up working with my family for 20 years. These days I mostly chill with my husky and family so I’ve been looking into alternative methods to make money during the week. I also play music for a living so my schedule is flexible and late at night/weekends. I haven’t been playing many gigs lately just working in the studio in downtown Longmont. So I’m around the farm pretty much most of the day. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I have a million dog bowls for water and tons of cool dog related activities. My dog is super friendly but if you just want privacy that’s fine too… we can discuss arrangements…. But if you have a pack animal and want a play mate…. Zelda Princess 👑 Bear is the best. Currently I have a small dog staying for a week and she has been living it up!!! I have two different dog pools… one for small dogs and one for large animals that the small ones can’t even get into if they tried 😆 All and all… I’m a huge animal lover. All I ask is that you respect my space and my privacy. Thank you!!! Let’s chat and see if it’s the right fit!!!

Great secluded spot with plenty of room to run around and sniff. We forgot a water bowl and poop bags and both were graciously provided by the host. There isn't much shade so be prepared for that. Another bonus is the water hose.

This is such a fun Sniffspot! I was worried that my dog would be bored without trees and rocks to sniff around, but he had a great time! Plenty of room to run around and things to sniff. It is also very private. One of our favorite spots so far!

Wonderful open field where the dogs had a great time running around. They have a shed for some shade, chairs, and hose to cool the pups off. The grass is real tall so check your dogs for ticks, we didn't find any today though!

Host is friendly and flexible. Property is nice and big with beautiful views. My dogs enjoyed it. There are some horses fenced in on the far end of the property (neighbors I think) and my dogs have never been around horses, so we just stayed in the middle and they still had plenty of room. Recommend!

We had a great time on Jason’s acreage! One of our dogs is not dog friendly and we didn’t feel worried one bit on the property. I was hesitant about the lack of fencing, but it is very private and felt safe for both dogs. The water station was a huge plus! Thanks, Jason!

Lovely area for the dogs to run around! We had a great time with our 3 dogs playing fetch and running around the huge plot. A bit muddy in the field but we just got a ton of snow + 55 degree days so that’s expected this time do year

We had a great time! Jason was kind enough to greet us for our first trip out here. The property is big enough that I wasn’t concerned about my dogs running off onto another property or road. My girls had a blast and we will definitely be back!

Huge spot with few distractions, just a couple horses on a far side of the property. Plenty of room to keep some distance and get some full on sprints out of the dog, on a beautiful property.
