I was greeted by the male owner. He was very nice and informative about the property. It was very hot that morning and they offered free cold drinks. He also had bug spray available for me and my dogs which is 100% necessary to enjoy the trails. The trails are very nice. We will definitely be back in the fall

Great spot! Massive fenced area for the dogs to run. There is an area for your dogs to swim however there is an opening on that side for your dog to take off if it’s recall isn’t any good. Mine loved running through the marsh! Dog toys provided too!

The location was easy to find, Laurie is very responsive, the everywhere on the property is clean and free of hazards. Slick and Jayda had a great time chasing the ball and meandering/sniffing around! We will be back!

Winnie and I were in town for a quick weekend vacation and didn't have many options for off-leash play. I am so glad I found this spot! Laurie was so accommodating and friendly. Winnie had a HUGE space to run around and she happily sniffed every square inch of both fenced in areas. There was water available for her as well. Would definitely recommend!

Loved everything about it! Host was great at communicating. Dogs could see the horses safely, as well as goats and chickens, all safely enclosed. Clem water was provided in a doggy pool for a mandatory bath after rolling around. Highly recommended ❤️

Thank you for a lovely visit! The owner was very kind to welcome us. The fenced in area is used for horses, so be prepared for dirt and possibly mud. We were also allowed to walk our dogs on leash around some of the other areas outside the fence. My dogs were so curious of the horses, chickens, and goats.

Great spot for the dogs to get a good run in. Also good exposure for a learning puppy since there are chickens, ducks and horses on site. Lots for the dogs to sniff. Water was available. I will be going again for sure.

We love coming here! Krystal is so kind and the dogs love running through the field. We get to practice recalls and do some training in a fully fenced area. They get to see horses and chickens too, an absolute bonus for socialization for my 10 month old puppy.

This was our first Sniffspot and I’m glad it was! The host was helpful, the facility was really nice, and my pup was worn out by the end. In the evening, there was plenty of shade to beat the summer heat!

FAQ about our Melfa dog fields

Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.

You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance.
