I feel like I have to newly brand our temporary back yard for you, our guests. This isn’t a fancy ass backyard with all the sweet little amenities. We have a beautiful large yard for your pup to run and a very functional pool THAT MAY HAVE LEAVES in it. If you have any doubts then please read the reviews. IF you have any issues please message me before leaving a negative or less than 5 star review so that I can fix the issue. I’m more than willing to accommodate and suggestions are always welcome. Please don’t expect a perfect backyard as explained in our description. :) Hello! This is our newly purchased home that we will be renovating but in the meantime our backyard is yours for you and your doggos! I may or may not be there working but you’re welcome to use our yard and pool whether I’m there or not for the time being. Once construction is done we will be expecting to stop offering our yard sometime after 8/1/24. We do have small gaps in our front gate that small dogs may be able to escape, pics shown. Please keep that into consideration if you have smaller dogs. *** I will mention we have gotten some reviews with people upset on the presentation of our yard seeing wood with nails sticking out and dog feces being left behind. I do understand the concern and everything has since been cleaned and updated pics will be posted first thing 3/24/24. We do not have the most perfect pristine show backyard that you may be expecting but there is a perfectly good pool for you and the doggo and chairs and plenty of room for the pups to run around. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS ABOUT OUR PROPERTY PLEASE EITHER ASK OR BRING IT UP TO US BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER YOUR VISIT. If there is anything you see that could be considered a hazard please message me so I can mitigate the issue immediately. I will accommodate best I possibly can under this new building time in our lives. We would love to have you but we also want you to feel safe and comfortable. FYI, my backyard is being rented out to people with dogs….I apologize if you come across dog poop. It has since been picked up, beware you may or may not see more. I walk my yard often, feel free to go to a regular dog park if this upsets you. :) We have an amazing open space and a pool should you or your dog want to go for a swim. The neighbors dog may or may not be out there but we are working on putting in privacy slats so they don’t bother barking too much. Please let us know if you have any questions and we hope to see you and yours there soon!
We have a half-acre of land in which your dog can roam. There are many trees they can walk and sniff under to keep shady. There's a nice long stretch of open yard so you can throw a ball. The pool is big but not very deep - swimmers rejoice in the summer! The pool is not fenced for those fearful of their dogs around water. Looking for a few nice respectful owners and dogs.
Fully fenced yard where your dogs can run, play, and swim! Clean toys/balls and water bowl provided for each guest as well as towels to dry pups off if they go in the pool. **Please keep dogs on leash until they are in the yard. I have been having a lot people let their dogs run freely from the car to the RV gate (sometimes the dogs have ran into neighbors yards, etc). This is NOT allowed. Please respect this rule as well as my neighbors who also have pets**
Hike Piestawa Peak and then swim and cool off in our fully fenced yard, with block walls, and our dog friendly swimming pool with Baja deck for standing, and steps on both ends for easy access/exit. Turf area for doing ‘business’ and we have floating and non-floating dog toys for play time. If we happen to be home, all blinds are pulled closed for privacy. Please note: There are 2 security cameras in back for your safety.
ALOHA from the town of Barksville! Welcome to the LUAU at the Gilbert swim and run paradise! Take as stroll down main street Barksville. Large synthetic turf great for playing fetch or run in multiple sprinklers, baby pool or maybe they like the bubble machine? Tons of toys and balls so no need to bring anything! Beautiful pool for pups to swim if they are so inclined! (towels provided) Lots of plants and trees to explore in the tropical setting! Feel free to swim with your pup! Wouldn’t have it any other way! 2 HUMAN SWIMMERS PER RESERVATION. More swimmers may be added under extras.
Large pool, with plenty of water toys, and a large grass area for your pup to play in without worrying about their paws. I also have a large grill, and covered sitting area with fans for the pup parents to relax in while the little ones play!
Does life feel “ruff” sometimes? Maybe it’s time to run free in an enclosed private backyard with lots of grass. Or are you looking to “make your mark” in this world? Or perhaps you just want to “paws” and relax in the shade. If so, then Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for you....and your awesome human, too! Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass, alcohol and smoking are prohibited. All pups need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations to keep our resident and visiting doggos healthy. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. Our goal is to make your time at Shaggy’s Shack loads of fun for you and your human so you’ll come back again and again. We’re sure you’ll need a long cat nap after a furbulous visit to Shaggy’s Shack! What are you waiting for? Stop chasing your tail and schedule your time at Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot today! We’re sure you’ll have a pawesome time!
Home to Ralphie the goat, Teddy the Pomeranian, and Buster the dachshund, the back yard of our property is expansive and fully cinder block wall fenced in. We have a baby pool for the animals to cool off in, a, large trees with lots of shade, and tremendous privacy for the whole 2 acres. Please park your car up the long driveway in front of the shop at the back of the property, then walk back up the driveway to enter the back yard using the gate near the main house garage door. Teddy and Buster will be kenneled inside the house for your visit, unless you specifically request their presence. Ralphie the Goat will be put into an enclosure in the yard for the duration of your visit. Important Note: Please don’t come and then leave less than a 5 star review just because there is a goat on site, in his pin in the yard, that you were very much aware of prior from the listing details. If you think your dog may not react well to seeing or being around a goat (with fence separating them), then don’t use my yard as an experiment and/or blame me or the goat when it doesn’t go how you want in terms of your dog’s behavior. I leave five star reviews for all my guests and I look for direct feedback and communication with specific concerns that I am actually able to resolve for my guests during their visit so that they will all feel comfortable also leaving me a five star review.
This spot is large enough for zoomies around the pool (in the Summer the deck - when dry - around the pool is too hot for extended contact between 9 AM till when the sun starts to set). Perfect for Reactive dogs needing to let off steam! The pool has easy entry/exit steps at the shallow end and a "ledge" for a rest break at the diving end (* Note; there are no handrails). If the dog is capable, they can also use this to jump out of the pool at that end. There is also a combination mulched/gravel area - so if your dog likes to roll on the ground when wet - there's also a hose to hose them off afterward. In the Summer the first water coming out of the hose will be scalding - please be careful! The surrounding 6+ foot high fence is block concrete, and all the gates have padlocks. There's a pooper-scooper and a bucket near the mulched area. There is a covered garbage can near the entrance. There's a large shade awning with comfy chairs for dog moms and dads. There will be fresh water available for dogs. There is one off-street parking spot available. *NOTE: Please be mindful that this pool is large and deep. If your dog is not a capable swimmer, nor a confident swimmer a well-fitting lifejacket is a must.
