We would love to share our yard with you and your fur-babies! We have fruit trees and berry bushes you are welcome to pick from! We get a ton of apples in the fall, so help yourself! Also, help yourself to snacks and drinks that I will provide prior to your arrival! We have playground equipment and games if you have any littles, and dog toys as well! The Canine Traveler - Fully Fenced 8 Acres

* We have yard maintenance scheduled for two weeks and have blocked the schedule. Our spot is at our home and is fully fenced with our home inside the fence. The property includes hills, bumpy terrain, sticks galore, piles of limbs, well dug holes by our lovely golden and pyrenees, and tons of open space. Please watch your step. When entering, you can park in the carport, gravel driveway, or even in the grass. You can use the grass to turn around in as well. You will close the gate right at the road during your entire stay. Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport and we have a picnic table near out bamboo in the back of our property. Dog Library: We have a new dog library that we will stock with toys, sticks, bags, and goodies. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport. There are two fold up chairs in the carport if you would like to use them anywhere on the property. Fences: Our Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever have never escaped or tried to jump it and that is a win for a Pyrenees! We have wire and split rail fencing with wire. Wildlife: You may see turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, ground hogs and squirrels. Grounds: The property around the home has never been graded so it is hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. We also had pipes going to a garden years ago so if you see them, don't worry! They are half buried and half exposed. Water: You have access to our well and water bowls. We also have a kiddie pool if you would like to use it. Wifi: We have wifi and outdoor outlets in the carport.

A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. This is the best dog park in all of Buncombe County! Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac Warehouse in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoys off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fencing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, and hammock are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided. I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport.
