The 41 Acre Farm Unfenced Private Dog Park In Milford

Unfenced
41 acres

I need to start off by saying this is a private, working farm and home. You may see people at our home, animals in a fenced enclosure as described. Please know this before you come. Acres of fields, creek, woods and trails for you and your dog to enjoy! Our farm is unfenced, feel free to let your dogs off leash at your discretion. We do have farm animals in enclosed areas, they are friendly and enjoy visitors but please make sure your dogs are well behaved with them! We have fields for playing ball and frisbee or any type of training you are working on. Head to the woods for trails and exciting adventures! Be prepared, you may see lots of wildlife including deer, squirrels, turtles, turkeys, woodpeckers and owls! Please have fun “hunting” for turtles, geodes, deer sheds and morels— but do not pick or collect them. Please leave these finds on the farm! Poop bags and trash cans available near the parking area. Note the pink flags to lead you to the woods, and for property markers- stay inside the property please- you won’t have any trouble with this with so much room to explore. It is hilly and can get steep so only go where you feel comfortable! Wear old shoes if headed to the woods! Have fun!! We have added some play areas for your pups including a sand digging spot, a tether tug and tunnel. *** Our pond is currently under construction to added increased size, depth and fish. Please be patient during construction! Your dogs are welcome to get in any of the current ponds during construction 🦺 🐐🐐 PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE WELCOME MESSAGE BEFORE YOUR FIRST VISIT FOR PARKING AND OTHER INSTRUCTIONS 🐐🐐

Frequently asked questions about Mount Olivet dog hiking trails

What amenities do Mount Olivet dog hiking trails typically include?

Mount Olivet dog hiking trails feature amenities designed for natural exploration and varied terrain: woods, hiking trail and scenic views, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Mount Olivet hosts customize their spaces. Browse 6 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog hiking trails in Mount Olivet with water access?

Many Mount Olivet dog hiking trails include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Mount Olivet days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Mount Olivet hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog hiking trails in Mount Olivet compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Mount Olivet see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog hiking trails have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Mount Olivet hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Mount Olivet dog hiking trails on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Mount Olivet dog hiking trails offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Mount Olivet private dog hiking trails let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog hiking trails in Mount Olivet?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Mount Olivet that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Mount Olivet dog hiking trails have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Mount Olivet dog hiking trails allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Mount Olivet dog hiking trails welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Mount Olivet where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Mount Olivet dog hiking trails for special events?

Many Mount Olivet dog hiking trails welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Mount Olivet hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Mount Olivet dog hiking trail listings for event policies.

How do Mount Olivet dog hiking trails accommodate dogs with special needs?

Mount Olivet dog hiking trails are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Mount Olivet special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
