Fully Fenced Yard with Grass and Pool near Swan and River

Fully Fenced
0.02 acres

FIRST: We kindly ask that if you have a dog that sheds to please brush them before they swim, to help minimize the hair in the pool. Also, if your dog is new to swimming, please note that they tend to ingest a lot of water and will need to pee frequently once you get them home. This is a private, central spot for your dogs to play, with lots of room to roam and swim and chase their favorite ball! It has a small grassy area which is dormant in the winter and healthy and green in the summer (please do not let your dog dig). The swimming pool is available year round, but is not heated or kept fully clean in the winter, though the filter runs daily. Have fun! NOTE the shade sail you see in the one photo is an "extra" you need to request, and is only available in the summer. It provides some nice shade over the pool, mostly in the early to late afternoon. As of November 1st we'll be reducing the price to $10, as the pool is colder and the grass is starting to go dormant for the winter. As of 10/31/2025 pool temp is in the low 60s. For the winter, please plan on bringing your own water/bowls.

Frequently asked questions about Oro Valley dog water parks

What amenities do Oro Valley dog water parks typically include?

Oro Valley dog water parks feature amenities designed for swimming and water play: river, stream or creek, lake or pond, beach, swimming pool, secure fencing options, water stations, waste disposal, and often extras like toys, shade structures, or parking. Unlike public parks with generic setups, Oro Valley hosts customize their spaces. Browse 4 listings to compare—from bare essentials to luxury amenities perfect for your dog's needs.

Can I find dog water parks in Oro Valley with water access?

Many Oro Valley dog water parks include water features! Filter by amenities to find swimming pools, natural ponds, or water play areas. Water is perfect for hot Oro Valley days, water-loving breeds, or low-impact exercise for seniors and disabled dogs. Each listing specifies water type, depth, and safety features. Some Oro Valley hosts provide life vests or shallow options for nervous swimmers.

How clean are private dog water parks in Oro Valley compared to public parks?

Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Oro Valley see dozens of dogs daily with sporadic city maintenance. Private dog water parks have dedicated hosts who maintain their own spaces—cleanliness directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Oro Valley hosts provide fresh poop bags, sanitized water stations, and regular grounds cleaning. With only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal.

Can I book Oro Valley dog water parks on short notice?

Usually yes! Many Oro Valley dog water parks offer same-day or next-day availability with instant booking. Unlike public parks that might be crowded unpredictably, Oro Valley private dog water parks let you reserve exactly when needed: early morning before work, midday breaks, evening exercise. Real-time availability shows on each listing—perfect for last-minute training or when routines get disrupted.

What's the best time to visit dog water parks in Oro Valley?

Any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks in Oro Valley that are crowded during peak hours (mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't worry about timing. Book when it fits YOUR schedule—midday when it's quiet, dawn for cool weather, late evening for convenience. Many Oro Valley dog water parks have lighting for after-dark visits. This flexibility is perfect for shift workers or dogs with special needs.

Do Oro Valley dog water parks allow multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Oro Valley dog water parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings), but generally you can bring your whole pack. This is perfect for multi-dog households in Oro Valley where some dogs are selective—they can play together privately without outside interference. Great for sibling bonding or families with mixed ages/temperaments.

Can I use Oro Valley dog water parks for special events?

Many Oro Valley dog water parks welcome doggy birthday parties, training workshops, breed meetups, or group playdates. Private bookings mean your event won't be interrupted. Coordinate with Oro Valley hosts about capacity, amenities (parking, shade, water), and any restrictions. Some even provide party extras. Check individual Oro Valley dog water park listings for event policies.

How do Oro Valley dog water parks accommodate dogs with special needs?

Oro Valley dog water parks are excellent for special needs dogs because you can filter for specific requirements: flat terrain for mobility issues, secure fencing for blind/deaf dogs, quiet locations for anxious dogs, small spaces for seniors, or maximum privacy for reactive dogs. Read reviews from other Oro Valley special-needs dog owners, and contact hosts with questions. The private setting means you can adapt the experience to your dog's unique requirements.
