Fully Fenced Yard with Grass and Pool near Swan and River

Fully Fenced
0.02 acres

FIRST: We kindly ask that if you have a dog that sheds to please brush them before they swim, to help minimize the hair in the pool. Also, if your dog is new to swimming, please note that they tend to ingest a lot of water and will need to pee frequently once you get them home. This is a private, central spot for your dogs to play, with lots of room to roam and swim and chase their favorite ball! It has a small grassy area which is dormant in the winter and healthy and green in the summer (please do not let your dog dig). The swimming pool is available year round, but is not heated or kept fully clean in the winter, though the filter runs daily. Have fun! NOTE the shade sail you see in the one photo is an "extra" you need to request, and is only available in the summer. It provides some nice shade over the pool, mostly in the early to late afternoon. As of November 1st we'll be reducing the price to $10, as the pool is colder and the grass is starting to go dormant for the winter. As of 10/31/2025 pool temp is in the low 60s. For the winter, please plan on bringing your own water/bowls.

Frequently asked questions about Oro Valley dog swimming pools

Why are private dog swimming pools better than public dog parks in Oro Valley?

Private dog swimming pools in Oro Valley eliminate major public park risks: unpredictable dog encounters that scare puppies, aggressive dogs that trigger reactive behavior, chaotic crowds that overwhelm seniors or small dogs, and disease transmission from dozens of unknown dogs. Oro Valley's 3 private dog swimming pools offer complete privacy, professionally maintained cleanliness, and controlled environments. Whether you have a fearful puppy, a reactive adult, a fragile senior, or simply want peace of mind, private bookings give you control.

How safe are Oro Valley dog swimming pools compared to public dog parks?

Oro Valley dog swimming pools are significantly safer than public facilities. Public dog parks risk: aggressive dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, overcrowding that triggers reactive behaviors or injuries. Private Oro Valley dog swimming pools eliminate these concerns—bookings are completely private, all guests have vaccinated dogs (or titers), and hosts maintain clean spaces. 93% of Sniffspot reviews are 5 stars.

Are Oro Valley dog swimming pools safe for reactive dogs?

Oro Valley owners of reactive dogs choose dog swimming pools because they offer safe, private environments for off-leash exercise without the triggers of public dog parks. Complete privacy means no unexpected dog encounters, no overwhelming chaos, no aggressive dogs. Reactive dogs can finally enjoy safe swimming while building confidence in a controlled setting. Many Oro Valley reactive dog owners say Sniffspot is their only safe exercise option.

Can anxious dogs safely use Oro Valley dog swimming pools?

Yes! Oro Valley dog swimming pools provide controlled environments perfect for anxious or fearful dogs. No other dogs means no triggers, no overwhelming situations. Anxious dogs can explore a pool facility where dogs can swim, practice water therapy, or cool off safely at their own pace without stress. Many Oro Valley dog swimming pools offer quiet, spacious settings ideal for building confidence in nervous dogs who struggle at chaotic public dog parks.

Are Oro Valley dog swimming pools good for small dogs?

Absolutely! Small dogs benefit enormously from Oro Valley dog swimming pools because they can explore without fear of being trampled or intimidated by larger breeds. Many small dog owners in Oro Valley avoid public parks entirely due to safety concerns—dog swimming pools eliminate that worry. Filter for appropriate sizing, secure fencing with no gaps, and hosts who understand petite pup needs.

Do Oro Valley dog swimming pools work for senior dogs?

Yes! Senior dogs thrive at Oro Valley dog swimming pools because they can move at their own pace without being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or young dogs. Look for Oro Valley dog swimming pools with flat terrain, easy access, shade, and smaller sizes if your senior has mobility limitations. The privacy means your older dog can rest when needed and enjoy gentle exercise without stress.

What do Oro Valley dog owners say about dog swimming pools?
