55Kate was very nice and accommodating. I have a foster that takes a while to warm up to new dogs. Kate was so kind to spend her time with her pup helping Larry (foster dog) meet her pup. Her yard is neat and tidy and is really spacious for puppy play.Chi T.

55Today was our first visit to a rented yard for play. I have a Pitbull and while I have a fenced yard, I was looking for somewhere he could really run. Thor’s is a terrific place. Lots of room and lots of areas to sniff. We will be back. There are a few chairs to sit on, or we just sat on the back porch steps. Toys are provided which was great as I forgot mine. Very relaxing and enjoyable space. There is not a covered area so if you don’t like to stand in the rain, bring an umbrella. I enjoy the rain!!Donna Z.

It is well tended and has lots of good space for a dog to romp. I love the fact that her backyard fence is more than 5 1/2 feet high everywhere in terms of security, and there is great privacy with a mix of cedar fencing and chain link that looks into empty land. I noted a worry about a spot with some pieces of rebar emerging from the ground as a potential hazard for dogs with zoomies, and she is working on removing those, and responded promptly and kindly The bored dog next door was barky at times, but is not able to come up to Kate's fence, so there is not a safety issue, but it might be worth noting if your dog would be very stressed by a dog nearby that was barking. 55We had another successful visit today. We also met Khaytlen, the Host and her fur baby, Thor, a 4-month old BerDoodle. Khaytlen is very warm, welcoming and personable. I really enjoyed talking with her as we maintained social distancing. She made us feel very comfortable. Thor is so cute, huggable, and adorable. We did a meet and greet with our dogs and they played for a bit which was great, but my dog played too rough for little Thor. The area is not huge (for agility training or sprints), but it’s perfect if you just want to exercise your dog and play fetch. The entire property is fully secured. The front gate is electronic, so if you want to use the front area, be sure to let the host know in advanced. There’s an area in the backyard that the owners are working on, which includes an area where it appears yard/tree debris has been burnt. It didn’t bother me or my dog. As a matter of fact, my dog has no interest in going into that area. There is a German Shepherd next door who barks at the sight of you, but it didn’t bother us at all. I was surprised to find a cat (I believe it belongs to the Host) hanging out in the backyard when I was checking the property. So, it may not be a good place for dogs who are reactive to cats. My dog has never met a cat, and it didn’t seem to bother him. But then again, the cat did a great job hiding but my dog was still able to pick up on its scent, but playing ball was more important. 😊 The Host is wonderful and very responsive. She also offers a kiddie pool, towels and toys. We will definitely be visiting again.Carrie F.
