55Spirit Farm and Gardens is our favorite Sniff Spot. It’s one of those rare places where our dog can just be a dog. The fence is secure and there are so many sniffs to sniff. Even though we have only been there a handful of times, our pup knows exactly where she is the moment we turn into the driveway. I wish everyone can see the joy on her face at that very moment. 💜Peggy C.

55I found Spirits Farm on Sniffspot because I have a one-year old rescue who is very reactive and needed a place to take her so she can be a dog and run, get exercise and work with a trainer without distractions.
It was wonderful and am looking to go back as often as possible. Glen K.

55Perfect space for three pit bull puppies to play. It’s nice to have a large fenced off area to have play dates without having to worry about other dogs. The puppies loved playing with the provided toys. Brenda W.

55On this visit, due to the rain, we used the indoor play area. This was a nice change. Zany enjoyed playing with the Jolly Ball and another new to him toy that he could wrestle around with. Thankful for this space that is close to home and safe for my boy.Margie T.

55This is the only spot I will take my two Corsos. They are a protective breed and react to some dogs aggressively so I choose to avoid that. It’s the perfect size and has fun and interesting things that my dogs enjoyed (farm animals, new toys etc). I’m heading back there soon!Shan W.

55Fantastic Area for the dogs! Large enough to really let them run and chase and explore. The towels are a great thought as the grass is a little long so expect your pups to get a little damp. Adrian W.

55Zany totally loves the Jolly Balll. He spies it the second we enter the gate and makes a run for it. I have to laugh every time. I do imagine he'd be an awesome soccer playerMargie T.

55These people are so nice and the field for the dogs is wonderful. It was my first time there, so I was a little lost. They have a couple Sniffspot signs at the driveway entrance - which is brilliant. There is a locked gate, and they had to let me in. Once I got in and drove down the driveway, there are some cones toward the back to park by. I wasn't sure where to go from that point, so for others out there: there is a little path that leads to a cute little gate and on the fence next to the gate are a few laminated signs - but you can't read them unless you go through the little gate. Once you go through the little gate, you are in the dog park... I think LOL Anyway, it is so nice of you to share your property with dog owners. We have a dog that doesn't get along well with others, so we can't go to places like Mento-Brown. This is a wonderful blessing for us to be able to share your field. Thank you so very much.Jesse M.

55The new covered barn for members is a game changer my buddy loved all the new smells and played fetch … I loved being dry warm and covered with overhead lighting …. Although he still loved being outdoors so we had to leave comfort for the a romp in the outdoor spot it’s nice having an option Lydia M.

55We had so much fun! Scooby met a horse for the first time. Played/sniffed in the leaves. Checked out all of the smells, and just had a wonderful experience. There was a great hideout/covered area with chairs, perfect idea for Oregon. There had been lots of rain and the play yard didn’t have hardly any mud at all. The grass was wet but no muddy paws! That was much appreciated. If we travel through again, we will certainly come back. Both dogs were worn out in 40 minutes! Picture proof attached.
On the human note, parking and the gate was SO easy. Well marked. Felt very welcoming. As soon as we pulled in, I knew it was going to be fun! The fencing and gates were well set up, no concerns about holes. Mj M.

Frequently asked questions about Saint Paul indoor dog parks
What do private indoor dog parks in Saint Paul offer that public parks don't?
Private indoor dog parks in Saint Paul offer complete privacy (no other dogs), specialized environments for climate-controlled exercise regardless of weather, professionally maintained cleanliness, flexible 24/7 scheduling, and safe spaces for all temperaments—puppies, seniors, small dogs, reactive dogs, or any pup needing accommodations. Public dog parks in Saint Paul can't guarantee any of this. With 7 options, you get predictable, controlled environments perfect for your dog's specific needs.
Can I find fully fenced private dog parks in Saint Paul?
Yes! Most of Saint Paul's 7 private dog parks are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, reactive dogs needing contained space, or small dogs who might squeeze through. Saint Paul listings include fencing photos so you can verify security.
When can puppies start visiting indoor dog parks in Saint Paul?
Puppies can visit Saint Paul indoor dog parks as early as 8-10 weeks with initial vaccinations, much earlier than the 16+ weeks needed for public park safety. This early, controlled socialization prevents fear and reactivity issues later. Plus, puppies can explore climate-controlled exercise regardless of weather without being overwhelmed or learning bad behaviors from poorly socialized adult dogs. Many Saint Paul trainers specifically use indoor dog parks for puppy development.
How do I find private indoor dog parks near me in Saint Paul?
Browse Saint Paul's 7 indoor dog parks on Sniffspot by entering your neighborhood or zip code. Filter by distance, then narrow by features: fully fenced, "fewer dogs seen/heard," specific amenities, terrain type, or size. Each Saint Paul listing shows photos, reviews, exact location, and instant availability. Local favorite Spirit Farm and Gardens is particularly popular among Saint Paul dog owners.
Can I rent indoor dog parks in Saint Paul by the hour?
Yes! All 7 indoor dog parks in Saint Paul are available for hourly rental. Most bookings are 1-2 hours, though you can reserve longer for training or events. Book instantly through Sniffspot, arrive during your time slot, and have complete privacy. Many Saint Paul dog owners rent weekly for consistent, safe exercise.
What's the difference between Sniffspot indoor dog parks and public dog parks in Saint Paul?
The biggest difference is privacy and control. Public dog parks in Saint Paul mean sharing space with unknown dogs and owners. That means you can't control who shows up or how they behave. Sniffspot's 7 Saint Paul indoor dog parks give you private bookings where only your dogs are present. You choose the time, the space, and the environment. Plus, your pup enjoys climate-controlled exercise regardless of weather and maintained cleanliness that public parks can't guarantee.
Are there indoor indoor dog parks in Saint Paul?
Yes! Saint Paul has climate-controlled indoor indoor dog parks perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Saint Paul locations typically feature protective flooring, controlled temperatures, and enclosed environments. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs, reactive dogs, or anyone wanting consistent access regardless of Saint Paul weather. Filter by "indoor" to see options.
How do Saint Paul indoor dog parks help with dog training?
Saint Paul trainers love indoor dog parks because privacy eliminates distractions. Work on recall, practice climate-controlled obedience work, rainy day training continuity, or winter recall practice, reinforce obedience, socialize puppies, or address reactivity without interruptions. For reactive dogs, train without trigger-stacking. For puppies, practice skills in controlled increments. For any dog, get focused training time in an environment specifically designed for climate-controlled exercise regardless of weather.
