We love our furry guests and we are also a full time dog boarding home / pet sitters! All fur babies are welcome. We do ask that you please pick up after your dog - we will have shovels and poop bags readily available. You are also more than welcome to walk your dog down our road if you are looking for a lovely leisure walk! Ask us about our antler chews! When visiting I will make sure all dogs are up in the house. Our private, off-leash park, located just outside of Philomath city limits, is for dogs of all ages, sizes, and behavior levels. Accessible entry includes parking only a few feet away, with additional parking space for extra large vehicles, including motorhomes or trucks. The large, level field is great for training, play time, or socializing. There is plenty of room to run, play fetch, and enjoy the wading pool in warm weather, with no unwelcome direct contact with other dogs or people. Reactive dogs are welcome! You are welcome to add fur friends (up to 10 total dogs) and their humans to your reservation! Marys River access for two or four hours is available as an extra from June to September.

The Field is mowed and fenced, ready for your dog to play! Come experience your own personal dog park. A 5’ fence surrounds this expanse of green with several shade trees for relaxing under. A wading pool is provided to ensure ample access to water and a place to cool down on hot days. A convenient garbage can for poop bags waits by the entrance, with a fresh supply of baggies! The small deck box holds a chuck-it with extra balls and some other toys for sharing. Human water is also provided ☺️ Comfy benches inside the Field allow humans to rest while the doggies run and explore. When arriving, look for signage that will guide you to the grey garage. The entrance to the ‘Field of Frolick’ is the chain link gate to your right. Hose can be activated at the front of the garage if you need more water, as well as a power outlet. If we have a lot of rain, there may be some mud along the far side of the field. Walk carefully, many holes have been dug… Welcome to the Field and enjoy!

Gopher, vole, and dog holes are to be expected. Mud during the rainy season. Sheep keep pastures trimmed and fertilized.

Update as of June 2026: we have a chicken coop in the yard with 3 chickens! They are hit free roaming so if your dogs will leave the cage alone then you are welcome to use our spot! However, if your dog is too curious or viscous towards the chickens, this may not be a spot for you. Hi there! We are Swift Start Preschool, and are so happy to be able to offer a platform for weekend use of our yard for dogs of any kinds. Toys that you see in photos will be in the yard, but guests, along with their furry friends are free to use them! Close to downtown Corvallis, come let your dog run free and just be a dog for a little while. Our newly fenced in area is a work in progress and we will be adding more things to do for pups and their humans. Fully fenced quarter acre yard with grass and trees. We have a couple small wading pools and drinking water for the dogs. We have a hose near the metal cabinet that has filtered water and we also have store-bought water in the metal cabinet until we get a regular fountain / faucet put in. We plan on setting up some more agility items. We have doggy bags for clean up and a trash can along with a can / bottle recycling container. . Hand sanitizer and a couple of toys in case your dog forgot to bring theirs. We Have easy parking that is off of the road near the dog Park entrance. If your dog is a hole digger that is perfectly fine, in fact we encourage it LOL but please don't worry about filling in the hole I will come down there after each visit and fill that in. We want your dogs to enjoy doing what they do. If I have overlooked anything or you have any suggestions or ideas that you want to present please feel free to do so. We spray organic spray to eliminate fleas and follow-up sprays to prevent and maintain fleas and ticks. Be aware when you book an appoint:ment that the lowest part of our fence is 4 ft tall in case you have a jumper :-) also if your dog has a birthday coming up on a day that you're planning to visit you can let me know. We provide a special little something for that special occasion. You can send me a text message two, three days or more prior to your visit if you would like this for your dog.
