Really pretty spot! My dogs loved it! I brought my 4 rescues and they ran, swam, explored and sniffed for the entire hour long visit. We could’ve stayed longer! We’ll definitely be back soon!

This place is heaven on earth for dogs! My two dogs are not dog park material (one is dog-selective; the other is friendly but lacks manners), and I bring them here as often as I can to let them run free and sniff. One of mine LOVES to swim, so the pond is a huge draw. They were (overly) interested in the chicken coop at first, but have gotten desensitized over time. This is a fantastic place to bring your dog(s) for a few hours and well worth the drive.

Our dog had so much fun playing fetch running up and down the hill. We took small breaks to walk around the pond, and she loved sniffing around. We’ll definitely be return visitors!

My dog was very happy to get to run full speed up and down the hill and enjoy the muddy creek. Was very glad that there was a hose to clean him up after! This place was great and I'll definitely be coming back!

We loved this sniff spot! Easy to find the location and parking was simple. He has never been around a body of water so this was a great opportunity for him. He loved splashing around in the water and smelling everything! The grass was tidy and clean (love that everyone picks up after their dog)! He had so much space to run and practice our recall. Will definitely return and would recommend to others!

we had a glorious time!! our dogs ran and swam, investigated the forest and the chickens (safely in their coops), and laughed and frolicked. It was a safe place to confirm that our youngest dog is a water dog and that he will pretty much come when called! wonderful - we will be back

I live in an apartment and have a 2yr old German shepherd whose vet calls him a covid dog, he did not get enough socialization as a puppy and I am very grateful for people like Jean. What other types of private dog parks are available?
Dog water parks
Many hosts have added water features like pools and/or are nearby lakes or rivers.
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers).
