Fully Fenced Yard with Grass and Pool near Swan and River

Fully Fenced
0.02 acres

FIRST: We kindly ask that if you have a dog that sheds to please brush them before they swim, to help minimize the hair in the pool. Also, if your dog is new to swimming, please note that they tend to ingest a lot of water and will need to pee frequently once you get them home. This is a private, central spot for your dogs to play, with lots of room to roam and swim and chase their favorite ball! It has a small grassy area which is dormant in the winter and healthy and green in the summer (please do not let your dog dig). The swimming pool is available year round, but is not heated or kept fully clean in the winter, though the filter runs daily. Have fun! NOTE the shade sail you see in the one photo is an "extra" you need to request, and is only available in the summer. It provides some nice shade over the pool, mostly in the early to late afternoon. As of November 1st we'll be reducing the price to $10, as the pool is colder and the grass is starting to go dormant for the winter. As of 10/31/2025 pool temp is in the low 60s. For the winter, please plan on bringing your own water/bowls.

Also a spray bottle with a mix of white vinegar & water for dogs is available to redirect negative behavior if needed. Please pick up poop and put it in the black trash. Please be aware we do have irrigation throughout the backyard, so please try to redirect your dog if digging outside the sandpit. Frequently asked questions about Vail small dog parks

What types of small dog parks are available in Vail?

Vail has 47 small dog parks with diverse features: small dog friendly, dog toys and small dog treats. Whether you need a fully-fenced space for poor recall, a quiet location for a reactive dog, appropriate sizing for small breeds, gentle terrain for seniors, or specific amenities like water features or agility equipment, you'll find options in Vail. Filter by fencing, size, distractions, and amenities to match your needs.

When can I book small dog parks in Vail?

Vail small dog parks are available based on host scheduling—many operate dawn to dusk or even 24/7. Unlike public dog parks with rigid hours, you choose the exact time that works for you. Check individual Vail listings for specific availability. Flexible scheduling is especially helpful for dogs with specific needs: reactive dogs who do better during quieter times, working dog owners needing early/late slots, or seniors needing cooler morning hours.

How do I book a small dog park in Vail?

Browse 47 available small dog parks in Vail, select your preferred date and time, and reserve through Sniffspot. Most Vail locations offer instant booking. You'll receive confirmation, exact address, and entry instructions. The booking process takes just minutes—perfect when your dog needs exercise, whether that's a reactive dog requiring safe space, a puppy needing socialization, or an energetic dog burning off steam.

What's the most popular small dog park in Vail?

Fully Fenced Yard with Grass and Pool near Swan and River is highly rated among Vail small dog parks, known for excellent amenities and positive reviews. However, the "best" spot depends on your dog's needs—reactive dogs might prioritize privacy and quiet, puppies might need secure fencing, seniors might want flat terrain, while active dogs might want maximum running space. Browse Vail listings to find your ideal match.

Can I use Vail small dog parks for training sessions?

Yes! Vail small dog parks are perfect for training because they're private and distraction-free. Work on recall, practice confidence building in appropriately-sized spaces, recall for toy breeds, or socialization with size-matched playmates, help reactive dogs build confidence, socialize puppies, or work on obedience—all without public dog park unpredictability. Many Vail professional trainers use these spaces for client sessions with all types of dogs.

Do Vail small dog parks accommodate multiple dogs?

Most Vail small dog parks welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (check listings for specifics). If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward strange dogs or if you have mixed ages (puppies and seniors)—private small dog parks let them play together safely without outside interference or triggers.

What amenities do Vail small dog parks offer?

Vail small dog parks feature amenities like small dog friendly, dog toys and small dog treats. Many hosts provide extras: poop bags, water stations, toys, shaded seating, parking, even dog wash stations. Each Vail listing clearly shows what's available. Look for amenities matching your dog's needs: shade for heat-sensitive breeds, water for swimmers, agility for active dogs, or privacy features for anxious pets.

Are Vail small dog parks available year-round?

Many Vail hosts maintain their small dog parks throughout all seasons. Filter for covered or climate-controlled options if weather matters. Indoor small dog parks provide year-round access regardless of Vail weather conditions. Check individual listings for seasonal availability and policies.
