55Large outdoorsy space, partly wooded but mostly open to the sky, nestled between two farms in the distance. The trails are dirt and well defined, with quirky outdoor art in unexpected places. The shallow creek offers safe doggie splashing and wading this time of year (late spring). On hot days keep in mind that due to extensive logging the majority of the land, including the long loop trail, sits in full sun. That grows lots wildflowers, though, and offers an awesome view of Mt Hood! We appreciated the easy-to-find parking area, waste station, toy/towel box, outhouse (the cleanest ever) and printed maps of the property (next to the small shed). It would be hard to get lost out here, though, because the trails loop around and you can almost always spot the house in the distance. But you could easily get lost in your own thoughts sitting on a bench or fallen log enjoying the smell of fir trees, the sound of the bubbling brook, and the joy on your pup’s face.Paige W.

55This is an absolutely wonderful place for your dog. It has a creek for wading, forest paths, and hills to climb. For first timers, the map has no compass orientation, so the trails can be hard to find. Turn left when facing the house and go up the little gravel trail. The trails, complete with statuary, will be on your right.Becky T.

Very nice time! great trails with a creek to play in. Charming statues and decoration (my dog was scared of them, but he won’t be next time). I’m not great with maps, so colored flags marking trails would be helpful, but it wasn’t hard to get around and keep the house in sight. We also really appreciated the bin with a towel!!

This spot has open areas, more forested areas, and a lovely little creek for pooch refreshment. The trails are still being developed, but the property isn't so big you would get lost or turned around or anything (and they give you a map- though I found it more helpful to just look around!). Beautiful location. We had an evening time slot so we got the added benefit of enjoying the spectacular star views. The trails are fun, decorated with statue art that added fun things to search for along the way. Ultimately we ended up learning that our husky doesn’t have good enough recall to handle off leash at this location. She saw a deer and took off out of site for awhile. We were afraid we had lost her but she eventually came back. When we return we will do a long line adventure instead of off leash. Other than that little scare we had a great time.

55This was by far the BEST spot we have ever been to. There was so much land for us to cover & let my dog roam off leash. It’s great especially for those dogs who are still working on training. There was a lovely little stream that my dog enjoyed walking through several times. The maps, water bowl & hose were great to have! Lovely Sniffspot. Our two canine adventurers enjoyed lots of sniffing, fetching, exploring and successful socialization to horses in neighboring, fenced paddocks. We didn't hear or see any other dogs, but we did see a gargantuan metal sasquatch objet d'art, which provided another fun socialization experience for all of us! I'd recommend this spot for sure.
