Farley Funny Farms Private Dog Park

Partially Fenced
1 acre

We have a partially fenced in 1.5 acre property! The front yard is a well-groomed and maintained yard with the whole front (roadside) fenced. Perfect to play fetch and let your dogs and kids run around! The backyard that connects to the front yard is also very well maintained but with a little more privacy from the road noise. There isn't as much fencing in this area, but it is secluded. Then we have the hill and back field! A LOT of room for a pup to roam and run! There is little to no fencing in this area, so the dog will need to have a good recall. But my dog loves running through the trees and up and down the hill! This area is semi- maintained. We cut it down a couple of times a year, but it is pretty thick and a bit uneven. Tennis shoes would be alright on a dry day, but boots are more recommended! Next to our open field at the bottom of the hill, we have about 1/2 an acre FENCED IN! In this area, you can let those high-energy dogs free to run and do as they please! This part of the yard is not maintained (yet). This area is also connected to our chicken run. You can not access the chickens from the fenced-in area, but you are directly next to their area. So please do not let your dogs jump on the connecting fence or dig at the bottom. We already have had some chickens try to squeeze under the fence! So we offer 3 different areas for you and your dog(s) to explore! We love our property, we love dogs, and our dog seems to love her yard, and I think this is a really amazing idea! We would love to meet you and your doggo! So come play in our yard and have an amazing time!

Frequently asked questions about Wasilla dog parks

Why are private dog parks better than public ones in Wasilla?

Private dog parks in Wasilla eliminate the major risks of public facilities: unpredictable dogs, inattentive owners, disease transmission, and chaotic environments that can overwhelm puppies, seniors, small dogs, or reactive pets. Sniffspot's 48 private Wasilla locations offer complete privacy, professionally maintained spaces, and flexible scheduling. Whether you have a nervous puppy or a dog-selective adult, private bookings give you control and peace of mind.

How are Wasilla Sniffspot locations different from public dog parks?

Wasilla Sniffspots offer: (1) Complete privacy with no other dogs during your booking, (2) Controlled environments without aggressive dogs or chaos, (3) Flexible scheduling based on availability, not rigid park hours, (4) Safety for dogs of all temperaments and ages, (5) Vetted and reviewed locations—93% of visits get 5-star reviews. You get all the benefits of off-leash exercise in Wasilla without public dog park risks.

Can reactive dogs safely use Wasilla dog parks?

Yes, and this is exactly what Sniffspot was designed for! Wasilla has 48 private locations where reactive dogs can exercise off-leash without encountering other animals. Since bookings are completely private with 30-minute buffers between visitors, your reactive dog won't face the triggers that make public dog parks impossible. Many Wasilla owners of reactive dogs rely on Sniffspot as their only safe exercise option.

What amenities help anxious or reactive dogs in Wasilla?

Look for Wasilla locations with "fewer dogs seen/heard" to minimize triggers for reactive dogs. Secure fencing prevents escapes during stress. Quiet, spacious properties reduce anxiety. Some Wasilla hosts specifically cater to nervous or reactive dogs with extra privacy features. Read reviews to find hosts who understand fearful or reactive dog needs.

How clean are Wasilla dog parks?

Unlike public dog parks where cleanliness varies wildly, Sniffspot hosts in Wasilla maintain their own spaces and take pride in providing clean environments. All guests must have vaccinated dogs (or titers) to prevent disease transmission. Many Wasilla hosts provide poop bags and trash cans. Reviews highlight cleanliness, so you can choose well-maintained locations.

Can I visit Wasilla dog parks with multiple dogs?

Yes! Most Wasilla Sniffspots welcome multiple dogs from the same household. Some hosts set limits (like 2-3 dogs maximum), which will be noted on the listing. If you have several dogs—especially if some are reactive toward other dogs—Sniffspot's private bookings let them play together safely without outside interference.

Are Wasilla dog parks good for senior dogs?

Yes! Wasilla Sniffspot locations are excellent for senior dogs who need gentle exercise without the stress of public dog parks. Older dogs can explore at their own pace, rest when needed, and avoid being knocked over by rambunctious puppies or large dogs. Look for Wasilla spots with flat terrain, shaded areas, and smaller sizes if your senior has limited mobility.

How do I find dog parks in Wasilla for small dogs?

Filter Wasilla's 48 locations by "small dog friendly" to find spaces specifically suited for toy breeds and small dogs. These tend to be more intimate, with secure fencing that prevents squeezing through gaps. Some Wasilla hosts have separate small dog areas or cater specifically to petite pups who might get overwhelmed at large public dog parks.
