The property is just over 8 acres and fully fenced with barb wire cattle fencing. The portion of the property around the house has more secure wire mesh fencing! We have lots of seating available, we just ask you don't come onto the porch for our dog's sake (: The property has meadows, trees, walking trails, and a pond for you and your pup to enjoy! Hello! Thank you for stopping by. I am a horse trainer and you and your dog will be entering a horse training environment, complete with horse poop. 🤣 This spot is best suited for medium to large dogs who mind pretty well. Perimeter of the 36 acres is mostly mesh fenced but your dog could get under electric fence and in with the horses if they do not listen well. The back acreage/hiking trails are horse free, secluded and have varied terrain with seasonal water in the creek to play in. This is NOT a safe off leash environment for a dog with no recall. This is a wonderful environment to show your buddy new friends and let the high energy dog play.

This is a fun, spacious spot with a pool available for dogs to use, lots of grassy space for your dog to run around, lighting at night, and different amenities for humans! It's generally best for dogs over 20 pounds because of a small gap under a gate in the yard (see the fencing section of the description), but dogs under this weight are more than welcome to come if this isn't an issue for them! The yard also has lounge chairs (just take the black covers off and then put them back on before you leave) and a outlet for charging (behind the chairs in the shade) for owners, as well as other amenities (see the amenities section).

**Welcome to Our Pup Oasis!** Nestled in a spacious one-acre backyard, our special retreat is a perfect design for furry friends. The centerpiece of this canine haven is our saltwater pool. Unlike regular chlorine pools, our saltwater oasis is gentle on your dog's coat and sensitive eyes, ensuring they can splash and play without any discomfort. What makes our pool truly special for canines is the pool ramp – a perfect feature for dogs who are a bit hesitant about water. This ramp allows your dog to gradually get used to the water at their own pace. For conservation purposes, we maintain the water level at ramp height, meaning the pool reaches a depth of at least 5 feet at its deepest point. Beyond the pool, there's a world of exploration waiting for your dog. The yard offers a plethora of sniffing spots and leads to the enchanting Cottonwood Creek. It's important to note that this area is not fenced, so do keep a watchful eye on your adventurous companions. Before diving into the pool, we kindly ask that you shower your dogs. This small step helps us keep the pool clean and safe for all our four-legged guests. Get ready for a tail-wagging good time in a space that’s perfectly suited for dogs!

We are a working farm and sanctuary. We have guest critters that come and go, we also have a few permanent residence. Please respect the property and the surroundings. Make yourself at home with your doggies and humans while you are here. Enjoy the hammocks, picnic tables, chairs, the creek and enjoy the trails as well. Please be courteous and pick up after yourself and your pets as well. We hope you enjoy your time here along with your fur babies and hope you’ll come back and see us again soon. Please do not enter any of the buildings on the property and no matter what the critters tell you they are not allowed to get out of their safe zones while visitors are on our property. Please do not feed the critters anything other than what is provided specifically for that critter. This is a working sanctuary with guest changes all the time, also be aware that this is the “country”, you may encounter wildlife and insects from time to time. Be careful while exploring. There are no human restrooms available on the property.

I am an animal foster and always have a fun crew of other vaccinated dogs around to play with. Or they can be the only pups in the backyard. A 20 minute notice is recommended because I foster dogs. are real picky about that so I think I'm not going to I just don't know what I would do about that thing I'm going to wait and maybe get some comments on the treats and stuff I may get some of those balls and peanut butter in them something like that but then again I don't think animals are having large allergies to peanuts like humans but the last thing I want to do is provide food that the parents don't allow the dog to I hope this explanation along with the pictures gives you an idea of what me and my boys can offer your family. And although I'm 52 I'm still very teachable so I will be open for any suggestions at any time because this will be a new venture for me even though I've had animals in my life my entire life of all kinds and I keep animals for their entire lifetime. In answering all these questions I realized I might need to get a permit from the City of Garland which is one of the reasons why I will not open for several weeks but I will keep my profile updated. Outside of starting and not for profit equestrian farm for horses that for whatever views or what have you this is the next best thing. Last but not least, I personally am a extreme believer in my boys health when it comes to the yard. Not only for their safety but they're inside and outside dogs so whatever they walk on they bring it to my house which I'll just leave it at that. I hope this isn't too long as I do have a HUGE issue with being brief but I prefer to put everything on the table at the front end versus the back end. I am a very honest direct person can I help you be the same way with me.
