55This place is amazing! The host is especially kind and helpful. There’s a hose for rinse off and large water bowl. Fully fenced. Lots of toys. Lots of trees for sniffing and puddles for fun. Bring tall rain boots if you’re able to! Mandie J.

The puppies Ash and Ember, had a fantastic time. They were exhausted by 50 minutes-so many zoomies and a solo venture for each into the woods. They were also in stick heaven! The instructions were so clear and concise from the owner it made the whole experience even better. We love every visit here. Summer is the best because it's so shaded but even in the rain the boys love the deep dark mud and the puddles. The woods is always worth it for us. Its easy to hose them off before getting back in the car. Thank you for sharing your space! Butcher had a wonder birthday and slept hard after our adventuring here today

55This was our first time at Jenna’s place and Tugboat loved it. As a reactive dog, he doesn’t get much opportunity to walk in the woods as there are often other people. He enjoyed having the run of the place and getting to play all the fetch he was physically capable of.
I feel like Jenna thought of everything from toys, to poop bags, to hose for cleaning off your muddy pups. I would definitely recommend bringing a towel when you come as there does get to be a good little mud patch.
It was on a private, gated property, and behind a separate chain link fence. I felt safe having my fence jumper here as the fence was sturdy and there was so much more fun stuff to do than escape! Parking was super clear and easy too.
This was Tug’s favorite sniff spot so far and definitely worth the drive. Kind of a one-off thing: there were lots of honking geese when we were there. And it made for some majestic photo ops! May be a random occurrence, but possibly something to keep in mind if that’s a trigger for your dogs. :~)Jill S.

Wow! What a beautiful property. First time visiting and we will be back for sure. My dogs had an amazing time.
This Sniffspot was super easy to find. The two acre field was beautiful and in the summer will stay cool with all the beautiful evergreen trees. We added the woods to our visit and this is where the dogs were having SO much fun running the trails. I think their favorite was the water though. They had a blast!

55Very quiet but spacious spot by the Lake Young's Reservoir. My dog took off like a pup possessed as soon as his leash was off. Finding a deflated basketball in the toy shack was probably the highlight of his day though. chris n.

A fun, probably seasonal, muddy pond and little creek that my dog loved splashing in. Trash can, water, and hose available for guests to use. Really considerate host warned me of the wet ground ahead of time.
Less good: We could hear people, dogs, gunshots, and barking dogs across the road. Normal stuff for a rural area, but something to note if you have a sound-sensitive dog. The main area is big, but it didn't look anywhere near 2 acres. From looking at google earth afterwards, I think it's maybe more like ~1.2 acres.Arianna G.

This is an amazing spot. I wish I had booked more time for my first visit but I will definitely return and check out the Woods add-on. The space is very private and clean, and the host provides toys, bags, trash, water bowl & hose, and covered seating area. I got lucky and went on a sunny day, but there was a nice mix of natural shade and sun to enjoy. My pup loved everything about it, from the sniffs to the sticks, and water. It was a joy to watch him let loose.
55We had a ton of fun! The garbage can and hose are much appreciated. My Jack Russell was able to squeeze under at the gates (born and bred to get into small spaces) so if you have a doggo under about 15 pounds who’s a runner you’ll want to watch them at the gates. Otherwise fantastic!Heather C.

FAQ about our West Richland dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
