The 8.4 acres has several ATV trails that make hiking easy for you and your four legged friends. If you decide to go off trail it is wooded but not heavily. There is also a large open area of just grass that give several stream access points. There are several picnic tables and large roofed area with seating and power. There are also several spigots to fill up water bottles and water bowls. Some bowls are provided and cleaned after each use if you would like to use.

CONSERVATION EFFORTS Our USDA-approved Forest Management Plan aims to ensure sustainable stewardship of the forest’s health and natural habitats. Trail walkers are vital for achieving sustainability. As a walker, you can help us do so by: Donating. You can help us achieve our aim of sustainable conservation by making a donation. About 20% of your booking fee goes to Sniffspot allowing you to book a hike through their platform. You can choose to donate the remainder of the booking fee to support our trail upkeep initiative; or you can decline to make a donation and we will waive the remainder. Hopeland Hound Haven

60 acres of forest and trails on a woodland preserve. Past our property is the Appalachian Trail. Canopy shade when there are leaves. There are little streams, logs, rocks and all sort of areas for digging, running, jumping and sniffing. There is an upper trail and a lower trail and they both loop together. Up the trail to the right is a deck with chair and table and supplies. You can watch your dog in all directions from this vantage point as they run free and smell all the smells of a forest.
