The Good Life Rescue

We are a non profit, foster based rescue this is based in central Nebraska. We have years of rescue experience and fosters throughout the state. We focus on pulling dogs (and cats) from death rows, that are typically down to seconds between life and death. We do not discriminate against breed, age, location, of health status. If we have the means to help, we do. We are an all volunteer, foster-based dog and cat rescue founded in October 2021. We are located in Grand Island, NE, although our foster families are located throughout the state. Our mission is to protect and advocate for companion animals by showing them The Good Life; making them family, providing care, love, and social skills needed to find their forever homes. Since our founding in late 2021 thru now (mid 2024), we have rescued over 500 dogs and have successfully facilitated over 420 adoptions. Nearly $370,000 has been spent in our first few years. The majority being spent on medical needs alone. As an all-volunteer organization, 100% of the money raised goes towards rescue.
