If chasing birds is your dog’s thing, I have several bird feeders hanging and get lots of feathered friends. There’s also plenty of seating available for you to relax while they play. There are poop bags, hand sanitizer, wipes, sun screen and a blanket for your dog to lay on and treats available for your use. My dog is in the pictures, she wanted to show off her yard, but she will NOT be outside when you have a reservation. She loves playing in her yard and I love sitting out here and watching her. Your dog would love it too and you will enjoy watching them have fun with no restraints of a leash.

Come, take a walk through my yard, into the woods and down a slope to get to Cazenovia Creek. While down by the creek, you will most likely not encounter another human being. The piece of creek is bordered by Northrup, Transit and the bridge on Southwestern Boulevard. Feel free to explore through the woods in solitude, it is a 10 minute walk down to the creek. I have an unfenced yard, so please have your furry friend on a leash if they are not leash trained. Once you get into the woods, you are more than welcome to go off leash. This is definitely a walk for boots or hikers. If it has been raining, the trail down will be muddy. The walk to the slope is wooded with many obstacles but definitely walkable ducking here and there under a branch.

Amenities include lighting for night use, a hose, sprinkler, kiddie pool, electricity, seating areas, garbage can, pooper scooper. The property is monitored via surveillance cameras 24/7. 1 acre is mowed, which leads to a bridge that goes across the creek where the trails begin. The 1st week of June I am having some work done on the bridge since the metal culverts are rusting and caving in creating the bridge to cave in. There are three large tables with plenty of stools, this spot is a great place to have a picnic while your dog plays. Explore a unique piece of history while enjoying the tranquility of large, private, well-appointed land, located next to an original stonework trestle constructed in the 1850s for the Erie Railroad. Your dogs will love wander along the abandoned railroad bed, trekking through the shale-bottomed stream, or relaxing while overlooking the water. While mostly shallow, the stream deepens at points for short swims. Your dog will love the rocks and sticks and playing in the water. The site is approximately 3 acres with a quarter mile marked trail. The wifi works well here too, well enough to live-stream.
