Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Fenced Yard Edition! Come enjoy our 2,500 sq. ft. fully fenced-in yard. Includes deck access and seating. There is a large umbrella for shade and rain in the summer. The ground in the yard is pretty flat and mostly grass. It can get a little muddy during very wet times of the year. There is a hose available for washing off mud, cooling off, or filling up the kiddie pool in the summer. We have a box on the deck filled with balls, frisbees, and other toys. We have a small fire pit in the yard - if you want to start a fire, just let us know! Bring your binoculars if you enjoy birding. Please let us know if you're interested in having a fire or want to know if the pool is out. We'd be happy to start a fire for you if we're available or ensure the kiddie pool has fresh water. If there are other extras you'd like to see, let us know! We do have this spot set to a 7-hour advance booking - please feel free to message to see if the space is available with less than 7 hours notice. We're usually able to accommodate most requests. Fun in Freeville - 5.5 Acre Trail

Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Trail Edition! A short trail for your dog that likes to explore the woods. There is a fire pit about 100 yards in with seating and some natural doggy obstacles for those interested in agility and parkour exercises. We currently have one open trail that runs the length of our 5.5 acre property and back, and we hope to add more this spring. Our favorite times to walk this trail are in the fall and winter. It can get pretty wet during certain times of the year. I would definitely wear tall waterproof footwear in the spring and summer and use bug spray. There's a large fire pit with benches and a picnic table that you're welcome to use. We are doing our best to maintain and further develop the trail but please be aware that there is uneven ground throughout and watch your step. As you walk through, you will encounter different types of forest and trees. It's always fun to bring binoculars if you're into birding. You might get lucky and see our resident barred owls! If pool is empty, turn on/off well next to front steps to deck and use hose (to fill or spray your dog). Dig spot is behind the little barn (ok to uncover space from landscape fabric). If there are ripe tomatoes, feel free to pick a couple as a snack.

Buster's Barn & Field

Buster was a 16 year-old dog who passed away while running in his sleep on July 25, 2025. He enjoyed his field with family dogs his entire life. He was the last one as I am at an age now where I probably won't be getting another dog; so, I want others to enjoy the land. After the first freeze, I drain the interior pipes and hot water heater to the wash stall inside the barn, there is however a 12-month frost free outdoor fountain on the back side of the barn by the woods with a water trough and plenty of electric outlets. I mowed a trail around the perimeter that is about .4 miles for a walk / run around the inside of the perimeter of the five acre field (.2 miles if you cut through the middle to avoid the little hill on the side next to the houses on the road).
